IG needs to make a restricted feature where you can restrict their acess to you newer posts... like a combination of blocking and restricting. It wouldnt look like you blocked them, but it stops them from being able to see all your new activity

It says under someone's page who I do not follow and is a public figure and I occasionally look at their posts. I never comment or message them. It says you have restricted so and so and then an option to unrestrict. Did I do this by mistake? Am I the one who placed the restrict by mistake? Don't know why I would do that.

Bro, I have a question. When he blocked me. I click his account for restrict. Then when I saw on messages . It's disappear quickly saying it's restrict and when I look for restricted account it's none of the list. I used my other account to check and then I blocked my main account. And then next I used my main account to click restrict on my other account and then it disappear. I check on restricted account it's none of the list again. So in conclusion, only it will be applicable when you unrestricted to a person if he/she wasn't blocked you. I have a questions do you have other options to unrestricted a person bro. I need help . I always think restricting and blocking is used when you have an issue with someone like if there's nasty stuff being said or harassment etc. I don't understand when people do it for no reason like when they speak to you and follow you but then suddenly put a restriction on. I have had that happen recently and I was like huh? 😂

I still have the DM chat from somebody that blocked me on Insta.. after a while their picture next to their chat went grey. But then after some time it went from grey to their profile pic again. The issue with blocking is someone (like a crazy Ex) can preemptively block you and when they feel like it unblock you Spy, be nosey, spam and even harass your followers then re-block you; after they cause a ruckus.

they will. The only thing it would say if you click on their profile it will say "instagram user". It will tell them that you've blocked them and no longer can view your profile.

they can still see it from their side , the blocking only stops your connection with that user from the moment onwards, but didn't affect their side's chat history of you, the chat history is remain as long as it can unless they delete it from their side..

You know how I was blocked?
