How to check if your oximeter is working fine and a few technical clarifications

Am 15 and when I check my heart rate,it shows around 120..but sometimes it shows 250...am really scared...btw I have anxiety also..so is it bcoz of anxiety? Or my oximeter is not working properly?

When we tie a rubber band,the pulse in the finger stops and the pulse oximeter shows no readings of pulse and oxygen concentration... Putting a rubber band is not the right method to check an oximeter

Any such videos, start watching from middle (by skipping 50% of video) . If you feel some content is missed, then go back and watch by skipping first 25% of video. That is the technique which saves us time. Thank you.

Thank you for your input. My intention was to just show that if you hold your breath for a while the value will change. Major part of my video is not this checking but rather about the accuracy of the measurement. I was just telling people one way of checking it.

Though you hold your breath for a while, it doesn't make any change in concentration of oxygen saturation in your blood lol... It takes about 200 secs to show it's effect. That's almost 3.33 mins(precise).The fact is that when you hold your breath intentionally your pulse falls down that means less amount of blood pass through the range of wavelengths and it shows decrease in SpO2 levels..... Don't spread wrong information among viewers....Atleast research on what you are to speak and make sure you give precise information unlike your pulse-oximeter ... Lol
