I like how real you are Nick, you don't put on a mask or a persona to try to get views, you don't use clickbate or annoying faces in your thumbnails, your videos are straightforward. I can tell who you are on camera is who you are in real life. I liked the message at the end too

Does anyone think that Niantic got some of this backwards? You should find wild Pokemon, IN THE WILD... not in cities or near HUGE clusters of folks on cell service. Pokemon should also be in remote areas, and spawn more frequently (perhaps not more rare) in the suburbs. It should definitely not be centered around LA, NY, Seattle, Chicago, London, Any of those places where the TONS of pokestops give too much advantage for living in a metropolis, you can already hatch more eggs and re-up balls, revives, and potions.Also, there shouldn't be ANY absolute dead areas (where you see nothing on nearby) for going 10+ mile from a town.
@IXChaosXI8 жыл бұрын
i agree , i live in a rural area on a farm but having so many out here would cause too much trespassing and limit the amount of popularity it gets with kids with no cars or transport
@rnegoro18 жыл бұрын
I kinda agree, they should set more pokemon in the wild.
@Renji18 жыл бұрын
Strictly speaking I agree - you don't see wild animals in cities or towns for the most part - you see them in the wild. So, the same would be true for Pokemon if they were real. However this is a game that they want lots of people to play, so making sure the highest concentration of Pokemon appear where the most potential players are just makes more sense. If I recall correctly, Pokemon spawn rate and the like is based on cellular activity in an area, so again where there are more people, there are more Pokemon.
@arefallout7 жыл бұрын
Aeoster Well seeing how there are wild animals in the city i dont think that logic holds.

I don't believe there is any basis for using Silph Road's calculator the way you are. The formulas calculate CP by multiplying (Base Attack + Attack IV) by the square root of (Base Defense + Defense IV) by the square root of (Base Stamina + Stamina IV), which is what PokeAssistant is generating possibilities for against the given CP. The Silph Road output is just a guess, and it's no better of a guess than the min, max or average, as you mentioned at the very beginning of your video.
@uriah62668 жыл бұрын

Poke Assistant has an Android app that functions as an overlay and works well in game (offers overlay or dust methods). It can also use leaders appraisal to narrow down exact IVs. Overlay method works quickly in game unlike switching from game to website, or spreadsheet.

Your editing style is amazing, keep up the good work.
@AlexImmortal1238 жыл бұрын
Theres a few apps you can get that, when you enter your trainer level, can use a sliding protractor over your screen, to give you your pokemon level. I then enter that level into Silph road. That speeds things up significantly for me.
@zzhettyzz15498 жыл бұрын
I enjoy your vlogging along with your Pokemon go tips! :) I love the beautiful nature & scenery that u show us through the video camera.
@xiaoduhu55708 жыл бұрын
One thing I must point out, when you use level 9 for clefable to check IV, level 9 just means the max possible level. It also can be level minus 1. The result of using possible max level number is always getting the lowest possible IV of this pokemon. But in your case is happened to be right, lv. 8 is in the range of stardust 800. Actually I have found that the pokemon's level without leveling up is only possible to be integral number. For example for stardust 2500 the levels are (19/19.5/20/20.5), the possible levels are only 19/20. So for each of my avatar level I draw a scale on a paper (transparent slide better) to match the exact level, then use thesilphroad to get exact IV. In this way, the CP of final evolved 3rd phase monster can be precisely predicted.

bro for being only 2 months on KZbin your really successful

Also, I just talked to someone who looked at the code and apparently Niantic just took out the Dragon Breath attack from Gyarados, and they also made it so that if you do a successful dodge you still get hit with 25% damage instead of 0%. Also they changed up spawn spots for rarer Pokémon. They did all this without communicating any of it to the users. Way to go again Niantic...

There is a great app for Android called "PokeGo Master". It essentially takes Poke Assistant's system but adds an overlay box that allows you to determine the pokemon's exact level. And it doesn't access PokeGo at all, just creates a visual overlay that you put over your PoGo screen.

Just a word of caution on the SilphRoad IV Rater tool, as it caught me by surprise. The CP may be in more than 1 range and that can change your result. I had an Eevee that I had fav'd because one of the other tools had given it a high score, and then Silph rated it low and the numbers did not match with the PA chart (and yes the stardust value was correct). I noticed that I had it on the mid hash on the arc, so I moved it to the primary hash and it returned the higher value that matched up with PA (95.6%).
@StackBundle8 жыл бұрын
basically you can tell if it has bad, decent, good or great IVs based on hp, stardust and cp. the higher the cp with the lower stardust the better the IVs. if it has high cp it is strong and if it takes very little stardust to power up then it is a low level. if it is a low level with high cp then it has good IVs.

3:00 An integer is actually a positive or negative whole number. Not decimals. I think you're referring to a real number which is the same thing but with decimals.

I use IV calculator that opens transparent on top of the game and lets me check the exact level by placing the line exactly at the white level bar. It sill gives me multiple options on pokemon that are low level / IV. But with Appraise, I can usually narrow it down, even to only one possible solution and giving me the exact IV without using stardust.

You could talk a bit about GoIV, the android app that snapshots your screen of your Pokemon stats and calculates your IVs based on that. Superb App.

Weird thingy I noticed. I am not sure if you noticed it too but the arc in PokeGO and the one in Silph Road are positioned the same way. As in it looks like that if you would overlay both arcs you would get a perfect overlay. So maybe that can help in trying to find out the right values??????

Nick have you tried the app called "PokeGo Master"? You can use it in the game to test the IV's of your Pokemon. It doesn't use Niantic lads API server. So you don't risk the possibility of getting banned. One thing i like about it is you can use both arc level and power to calculate the IV's.

Great content as always! Hey man, don't be afraid to take a day or two off. While I look forward to your videos daily, I would completely understand if I didn't see one for a day or two. You need to rest and enjoy your vacation. Editing is hard work and I know that is 80% of the job. Aloha!

From India and we still don't have Pokemon Go.. thank you for the wonderful videos, helps us remain up-to-date and hopeful about playing the game when and if Niantic decides to release it here :)
