How to check the rear light cluster wires on a Ford Mondeo MK3.
In this help guide I show which wires are for what light, this can be used to wire in a reversing camera or even parking sensors. I only the driver side but below is the full diagram for both sides.
Driver side -------------- Light ----------- Passenger side
Orange SIDE LIGHTS Orange/White
Blue/Red INDICATORS Blue
Green/Black BRAKES Green/Red
Green/Orange REVERSE Green/Black
Black GROUND Black
Green/Yellow FOGS Green/Yellow

cheers Steve, in most cars the wiring runs from front to back down one side of the car to one of the rear clusters then patches over to the other side.

Hiya. I ave a mirror dash cam which has a rear cam also with a power cable to connect to the reversing light. Problem is, the rear light as a multi-cable wring plug and was wondering if you had any thoughts on how I can determine which frigging cable goes to the revers light? Cheers.

Hi mate, I need help asap. My reverse lights are not working on my Mondeo mk4 2008. I've checked the bulbs they are fine and I've replaced the reverse switch on the gear box plus f11 fuse in the fuse box under the glove box is live. The brake and tail lights are fine. I just haven't got a clue what's wrong. I put the car in reverse and put the ignition on position 2 there is no live to the wires green and brown wire live lhs and black wire rhs no live current. Can you help me mate.
