Hi, first of all, thank you for this very usefull video. I have a problem with my e-quad throttle reaction, I have 4 different throttle, one finger type and three twist type, I measured the output signal as you discribed and didn't see any major problem but the motor driver doesn't give any response during the first angles of the throttles, but after the first 4-8 degrees, the motor starts to spin with a higher speed than desired and it makes a bad feeling on driving characteristics of quad. Between the 4-8 degrees to max throttle, there isn't any problem. Because of this issue, I can't drive the quad at very slow speeds below 5kph. Do you have any suggestion to fix this issue? Thanks. I checked this issue with another motor driver as well, and the result was the same.

Maybe your hallsensor of your throttle inside not inplace. So that the magnet ang sensor can not turn in normal.

@@mikekingtv3325 I have a great question for you, I am interested in a twist throttle that starts you off slow, because I notice that all the cheap $15 twist throttles that I a have used, knock you off the saddle as soon as you barley turn it to its minimal activation point, I am looking for a throttle that starts off very slow and gradually starts accelerating to full speed. I have a Phantomgogo R1 36v scooter. The make and model are Sine wave brushless controller 2HM-0. When I tested the 5v red wire coming out of the controller I found that the 5 volt Red Wire is pushing 17.44 volts. I am afraid of connectiing the.controller to the throttle because I do not want to damage the throttle. Is this high voltage normal or is it a defect? Will it destroy my throttle?

The voltage is so high.. maybe you also check the supply of the hallsensor on the motor HUB if the same reading.. . Because it should be all 5volts the same on the throttle..

I have a controller. And on the controller is a jst-sm 4 pin connector for both the brakes and the throttle together. 2 are for the brakes and that leaves 2 more pins which are of course for the throttle. But, the throttle has 3 pins. Could it hurt my bike if I switch the pins around until I find which pin goes where ?

Check input Voltage, if you have input supply voltage you should have the output reading... If not check open wire Used resistance measurements end to end or wire check if there is open line wire connection.

☠️ I've been experiencing extremely dangerous episodes of the motor not stopping as soon as I turn the throttle , related to high humidity conditions ! I think it's because the humidity increases conductivity of the hall sensors in the throttle . can you recommend a good throttle ? I think the manufacturers are going to have to make them water proof. I experienced the same issue with a different throttle , battery and controller. just using the bike after a rain storm is enough to cause the issue. We must have a throttle will a switch to cut power ! ☠️ Also stop using hot glue on the Hall sensors ! It melts were I live ! And make the throttle not Fall apart so easy , and they need to be made with softer grips or made to accept normal grip's.

MCY Throttle or handle bar Switches is water proof, and some controller can be set at program on throttle so if there are not normal the controller automatic cut. So the motor can't run
