I am and have been working on the video where I give feedback, but had work and sickness get a bit in the way (which is why I haven't been uploading). With that said I hope to finish the feedback video around Friday next week (don't know exactly how I'll post it though, it might be split into two videos). This is just a script that I had laying around of basically a lot of the small things I tend to do and check, its a collection of things I have mentioned before and some that I haven't mentioned.

Procreate has a simple command that would save you a ton of time with the copying of all layers (5:17)-- just go to the Add menu and select Copy Canvas, then paste to a new layer. It takes what's visible and puts it on the clipboard. Great content and great tips, keep it up!

Yep checking the value structure and temperature of color, contrast and atmospheric introduce is a hue game changer in the composition of game background, applying all these concepts that come from painting and illustration, the trick in game design is e with all elements separately and compositing is harder and requires more iteration a stated

Thanks. Just developing my Game Art abilities with Procreate and your channel definitely helps a great deal.

Regarding 7:35 - Making Your Scene Black and White This can be difficult when you don't want to make your character white like Slug Cat(Rain World) or The Knight(Hollow Knight).
@superoven3 күн бұрын
You can make your characters stand out in black and white without making the character white. The point is it will show you that the contrast is not quite right

Great video man! Have you ever thought about creating a discord? Would be good to have a discord that is more focused on the art side

Yes, I get asked to make one every now and then. and I agree it would be nice if there was one. But I sadly don't think I have the time to manage one.

Bro I was wondering where you videos were

Since I do this part time, if I get sick or have other things come in the way I tend to not upload for a bit. Which means my uploading schedule tends to be a bit erratic.

@Nonsensical2D that's cool, hope you enjoy making as much as I enjoy watching!

9:29 I was _just_ about to open your channel page in a new tab to check the cannel info to see if you were Swedish*, but then these books appear confirmed it for me, lol. * I have ADHD okay; when I start to wonder where an accent is from and start to think it sounds oddly comfortably familiar, and then suddenly realise that it sounds Swedish; I just have to pause the video and figure it out immediately, or I will stop paying attention and only focus** on the accent... **That's also why my channel info only says "I'm from Norway, in case you wondered...", just in case some other ADHD'er gets distractingly curious about where the crazy person who posts multi paragraph (or one whole screenful of text with barely any periods but lots of commas and semicolons and nested parentheticals and no line breaks) is from... Come to think about it; maybe I should add "and I have ADHD" to the description too? That might explain some of my wildly off topic comments to anyone curious.

Just updated my channel description to say: I'm from Norway, prefer they/them pronouns, but I'm okay with any pronouns, ADHD* and autism ...in case you wondered... (* which probably explains why I presumably wrote such an unhinged and or lengthy KZbin comment [possibly with footnotes and generally odd typography for a comment] that you decided to come here to read my channel info.)

You can ask people to help identify when things are wrong, but you shouldn't ask people how to fix it (unless they are an expert, and still probably not)

Yes definitely, I mentioned that in the video right before this one, but felt like the video would be a bit repetitive if I mentioned it again. But I do think it can be helpful to have people voice what it is that they don't like about something. Sometimes that can be harmful as well, but it can point you in a direction.
