Why do you need the spell binder?

Because it increases your damage and crit chance :) With this setup I have almost 50% crit chance and 240 damage. It also boosts clones damage because it’s counted as ‘spell used after pluck of many’ :)

I couldn’t beat him faster than 50 seconds with any other strat, and my other boss strats usually take 40 seconds to beat the boss with no hit, so it’s pretty fast :)

I used the strategy in the video but it wasn’t for me because I kept on dying. I used a modified version of it which uses immobilize instead of spell binder. I did the same exact thing in the vid but used immobilize instead basically-so this is for the people who are having trouble with the original strategy or dont have spell binder. (took me 2 tries to beat yellow loong with the modified strategy) Note: I forgot to mention I didn’t use the pilgrims set-I used the first set of armor you get at the beginning of chapter 4.

Fun fact sometimes he will just walk towards you without attacking. If you're at the right distance you can charge a 3 focus thrust and make him fall on his ass repeatedly

Let me clear you bro. This strategy.. first time he will charge and 2 attack and walk towards you. There's your chance. Up to 25 % of his health. Then he'll charge and 5 consecutive flash. Then repeat again he'll charge and 2 or 4 attack sometimes. Core point is you have to keep distance until he starts walk. Thank me later 😊

​@@bryanlemmens68But you're not wrong though, that's definitely one of the best strategies if you're playing it smart because once his health is down by almost 50% he'll go into his lighting flash phase or whatever then keep spamming the same attacks over & over. You're only best bet is to keep distance at certain times to charge focus points.

Promised consort radahn and Malenia trained me for this fight. Took maybe 30 minutes to beat him. Once you learn his attack combos it’s really just patients and waiting to attack. Instead of trying to go ball to the wall.

This is an endgame build because you need to upgrade the Pilgrim set to mythical which can't be done until chapter 6.

i just defeated him yesterday, used imobalize couple of times, when in use, hit him with l2 button to generate focus quickly 4 points, than use wandering white, then hit with 4 point heavy attack, did this 3 times he dead😅

I did it but not with this Max out pluck of many Smash stanch And then I had most of my survival max if you can’t Manly focused on dmg/crit hits Do the salsa with him for a lil and do some dmg till his health is some what half way when he go into the air shadow step till he done and then pop your pluck of many I use the bat after to freeze him and then pop a spell to stop him once you back alone he should be some what low so use your transformation to finish him off and or ( you should have a shadow step and a demobilize ) stop him and hit him with a heavy and then when he start dashing shadow step and boom kick him in a ass

Yeah, smash stance is the easiest against most bosses :) It's free to re-assign sparks :)

The first move the boss makes is always the same - the trick with bonk and pluck of many worked 39 times out of 40 in my testing :) The rest is pretty straightforward - you dodge only one move and the boss almost instatly gets stunned by you or your clones all the time :)

Yellow Loong can't run. He just walks, dash, and fly-dash. I died to this dude for around an hour and I finally took the hint before the fight, which pretty much says "don't piss him off just wait for him to attack". So I use thrust stance and just charge attack whenever he got close enough

After so loong (pun intended), I was maxing out all my medicines & tryna upgrade certain spells/forms dealing with dis nigga. Dude took up almost a whole week for me to beat him, every night after work just stuck on him until I took a break & went to sleep haha. The best transformation is Red Tides, I used the weapon from the 3rd Prince in the celler from chapter 3 (Chu-Bai Spear). It was a hell of a fight nonetheless but I enjoyed it!

And every strat took me no less attempts than a regular run, because you need to know where and how boss will behave to find a proper sequence of actions. Also, keep in mind that there are many players who struggle with bosses regardless of how many times they attempted to beat them, or their mental/physical health does not allow them to react properly. Or don't have enough time to learn every boss move and want to enjoy the game anyway. I don't see any reason for them to force themselves if they can simply use this strat and move on. Maybe it's the only boss they struggle with (yeah, this happens too!), and almost gave up on this awesome game because of that. Ten they'll use this strat, beat this boss, and breeze through the rest of the content in the game. Why not?

With all meditation spots you should have around level 45 by the time you meet Yellow Loong. I was level 70+ without farming cocoons. What I did was use spellbreaker and kept my distance while charging up my staff and then hitting him while also dodging his lunges. If you keep enough distance from him he won’t attack as often unless you get him to the halfway mark.
