good point . Most flute makers in India like punam/bakale etc are too commercialised . They're good for beginners but eventually you have to find your own flute maker ❤

Agree with your thoughts only a good and experience flute player can make good flute. I am playing flute from three years and also try to make my own good flute (coz i have a lot flute bamboos around free for me) but still struggling.

Congratulations on your journey and keep up the good work! I was wondering, how many scales or modes can you play on Bansuri without having to use half-holes? I discovered that you can play the major Western mode starting from all holes closed, and I think you can also play minor, but other than that?

Thank for you comment, you can play a total of 7 modes without any komal(half hole covered) notes, starting from every hole is a different mode, and also you can create pentatonic scales and arpegios 🙏🏼🪈🎶

@@tepuibansuri6377 Wow, I didn't think of it this way. But yes, it if behaves like a flute it makes sense. Which means from the 2nd note it would be Dorian, etc. Thank you!
