Great video guys, this is the best video because it uses pictures to describe what others only talk about with out actually explaining. Thank you 🚣🏻👍🏽

Many thanks for the video. I think that wooden and Greenland paddles would be worth a mention, particularly the latter, to complete the survey.

But if the foam core helps you lift it out of the water surely it will be a lot more effort when trying to sink it it in for the start of the stroke! Just saying and it looks a great paddle

A very interesting insight. In over 20 years of paddling I never thought of that. Ha ha ha. Going to have to pit some thought into that. Either way, the foam core definitely has the smoothest paddle stroke with the least flutter of all the paddle constructions..

Maybe, but high buoyancy has other benefits, not mentioned: more effective bracing and rolling.

"...not unlike a surfboard"....double negatives have always intrigued me...

That is an interesting observation... ha ha. similar to a surfboard! Thanks for the catch

First video I have seen that correctly notes the difference between high angle and low angle paddling preference, but then you go and put up the completely irrelevant "paddle length chart" that serves to only "make" paddlers have to use the paddle in a low angle configuration or have completely ridiculous form if you primarily paddle in a high angle..

Thanks for the props and also for the thoughts on the paddle length piece. Apprecaute the feedback.
