I think there might be some orders who allow married women partial admittance. At least I've heard rumors of such things as cloistered orders who have lay women liaisons of sorts who do things like fundraise and shop for them. I've also heard rumor that some orders allow married mothers to join as long as their children are grown and their husbands deceased. I have no idea how true these things are, but one never knows.

Very good, practical advice. Too many young women hem and haw when deciding on their vocation. At some point, no matter WHAT the life path-secular or religious-one’s choice will require a leap of faith and a trust that there are no mistakes, just different lessons (even marriage!!).

Thank you so much for this video. It's definitely come to me at the exact right time isn't that funny!! I've been trying to discern which order to enter and I've been feeling called towards the Sisters of Charity especially since there's an order in the same city that my children live in! Yes it's just a charity allow women who have been married before to enter..... How cool is that!!!

How do I become a nun that cares for children in foster care? A dream of mine is to be mother to children who need love and care. I don't want to marry and I don't want to have children with the wrong man especially when there are already so many children who need a parent or guardian. Please help

Well, I'll tell you. I was going to be a Presbyterian Minister. I've been studying your Rosary. Here is what I learned. 1,000,000,000 Catholics say the Rosary once a week, that's 50 Hail Mary's times all of the above, for about at least, 500,000,000 x 52 weeks a year, times let's say, 100 years, is conservatively, 250,000,000,000,000(at least-the fewest count possible for the entire world population of Catholics over 100 years). Any Results? A big bunch of results??? In the Last 100 years, have any of these prayers ever said, Hail Jesus, Full of Grace, wonderous Son of Our Loving God, who is the source of all of our power, and our life, through whom all our Blessing flow? On any given day? 1 - 2 - 5 - 100, ??????? Over the last 100 years, the average praise that goes to Mary, who He left at age 9 or 10 to teach and preach, becomes 1: 250,000,000,000. I don't care how close we are to the rapture of the Church. Start over at square 1. All prayers, Start with, "Hail Jesus," until the praise count, goes to God's Son of Man and God's Glory in heaven, instead of to some woman that gave Him Birth; and the tally is reversed into 250,000,000,000,000 Hail Jesus', to 1 Hail Mary'.
@sanjivjhangiani32432 жыл бұрын
The first part of the "Hail Mary" comes from the gospel; it's the Angelic Salutation. As to leaving her at 9 or 10 years old to preach...where did you get that idea? In the description of the finding of the child Jesus in the Temple, it says he was about 12 years old. After they found Him, it says that He went back to Nazareth and was obedient to them in all things.
@jgarden39252 жыл бұрын
some woman who gave him birth? I would say for you to meditate, everyday, on the visitation of the angel to St. Mary and on St. Mary's visit to St. Isabel on the bible. There it says clearly that everyone (everyone who is of God) will praise Mary. she is called our Lord's mother, as in, God's mother. an angel greets her, being the only time an angel bows down to a human in the whole bible instead of being greeted by a human. and if you talk to people who actually pray the rosary everyday, there are tons of miracles! I myself was cured from suicide urges from praying the Rosary everyday (and to that point I had tried everything, from therapy to meditation, with 0 results). who are you to question God? if she was only someone who gave birth and of no importance, then why did God even chose to have a mother, to be in a womb? couldnt God just come 33 years old into the world and preach? of course he could! but he, supreme love and wisdom, chose to come from her. she is the new ark of the covenant, for God's sake! who are you to question God's decision for a woman? who are you to question the Bible, who says it so clearly? when King Davi came close to the ark, he danced in joy. when St. John in St. Isabel's womb came close to the new ark, Mary, he leapt in joy. how can you be so blind by hatred that you cant see it?
@jgarden39252 жыл бұрын
when people touched a piece of Jesus' garments, they were cured. when Jesus choses to stay in a womb for months, the mother is holy. how can a good fruit come from a bad tree? the tree which gave us Jesus was molded by Our Lord himself. how could Jesus, God, stay anywhere dirty by sin? he needed somewhere sacred to be in. Mary is so special... sin came from a woman, Eva, and salvation came from a woman, Mary. i hope that by carefully reading the Bible's passages everyday this can become clearer in your heart, brother

@@jgarden3925 Bluntly, I'm non-mortal that talks to Angels himself. The Angel that I talked to, told me, not to talk to Mortals. That's you. As for the Angel bowing to Mary, That's Pure Crap!!!!! Every Angel in heaven, will tell you, when you Tell them, that they're Mary's Angel, they'll will snap your head off, and tell you, "GOD'S ANGEL !!!!!!!! " GOD only Permitted, that Angel to talk to Mary. Jesus Himself told me to tell Catholics, that He can't be thought of as God! He told me to tell you, that He has to be thought of as A DOOR ! NOT-GOD! UNDERSTAND MORTAL !!!!!!!!!
@garyshields27342 жыл бұрын
@@jgarden3925 Wrong again Mortal. It is written, ALL MEN, have fallen short of the Glory of God, and all, are unworthy of God. The Sins of the Father are passed on to, the Son. God's Son, has a Sinless, FATHER. Jesus came to visit Sinners, Not to find some sinless female to have Her for a Mother so all Sinners will praise her as Holy. And that's not what Holiness is, being sinless. It's being One, in all, with all, and through all. Know Ye, Oh Israel, The LORD Thy GOD, is ONE. That, is what Holiness is. Oneness with everyone created by God. NOW, Begone, Mortal.

I have a calling for religious life but also to be a mother 🥲
@joane245 ай бұрын
Technically speaking, all women have a call to be a mother, for a motherhood is the maturity of the woman - it's about giving love beyond yourself, giving care and nurture. On a natural level, it is also a universal trajectory. However, motherhood doesn't have to be biological only, but also spiritual. Just the men are, likewise, called to fatherhood, and for instance the priest fulfills that call by being a spiritual father.
