Man. Thank you soo much. You just saved me a tone or research. Tomorrow I’m planning to sign a contract with a solar pannel company and I am thankful for this information.

Have you got your solar panels?
@MessagesofLife4U Жыл бұрын
@@shiteshkumartiwari4554 yeah. I finally decided on Canadian pannels, and a GoodWe inverter. I've appreciated your information there thanks.

@Fab 8 glad to hear that. But if you haven't signed with that company , I can provide you with the same panels at a cheaper price or if anyone else is looking for solar or battery. I can help with that. ❣️

Fantastic content, love it. I think your microphone might be clipping throughout as the vocals sound distorted and a bit shouty - but it could just be me! This also happened in the 2023 solar guide as well. Thanks again, really great videos.

I use longi Because they have a factory in Indonesia, it makes them the cheapest and monopolizes the market in terms of quality.

I was going to install solar on my roof but the process is too mind bogglingly difficult to understand so I gave up. The solar rebate was the first hurdle. Made no sense.

Find a good installer (or 3) and it's all taken care of for you. I know a website that can help with that...

Thanks for this, I see you have listed Hyundai as "rebadged Tongwei panels"; does that mean that you would also recommend Tongwei brand panels or is the quality control not as good from this manufacturer? I received a quote from one of your recommended suppliers and they use TW panels

Hey Fin - what about residential Wind turbines in conjunction with Solar panels?
@SolarQuotes Жыл бұрын
Residential wind simply doesn't work - not practical, very expensive, lots of turbulence

Wasn't too long ago you considered LONGi more in the middle, what changed in this opinion?
@SolarQuotes Жыл бұрын
I checked an archived version of our chart from 2018 and Longi was on the left back then too :) They've always been a solid, reliable, cheaper panel.
@jazzcardashcam Жыл бұрын
@@SolarQuotes I'll dig too but I swear on a video you had a graph with LONGi towards the middle at some point! Also, while I have your attention because its not too late yet to swap anything. Is 19 × 455W LONGi Solar Hi-MO4m with 19 × Enphase IQ7A-72-2-INT · 349W a good match? Your websites a bit confusing to tell .

@@jazzcardashcam YOur installer really should know this (and do the high/low extreme temperature calcs_ - but yes they are compatible. You can check other panels here: enphase.com/installers/microinverters/calculator

@@jazzcardashcam Also there is zero opinion on the left -to-right position of those brands. As the chart says - it is based on price.

@solarquotes. This is an honest question. I do not understand why Tindo is so highly regarded. Efficiency of panels is lower than most others, higher voltages and current per panel than most other players. Their panels seem like they are a generation behind. They are assembled in Aus, nothing about them appears to be made in Aus? How can they be so high up your list? I literally cannot understand how it is possible for a small assembly plant in Mawson Lakes can build a better panel than the bigger players ie Jinko, Trina, REC etc etc, it doesn’t make sense. Tindo’s total budget would be the 0.001% of some of these giants. I love the idea of supporting Australian but I feel as if this is clever marketing by Tindo and nothing more.
@SolarQuotes Жыл бұрын
On the brand chart, x-axis is price and y axis is alphabetical. If people want to pay more for an Australian-made panel (I'm an ex-manufacturing engineer - the panel assembly can be classed as proper manufacturing IMO) then Tindo are made to a high standard - even though they are generally less efficient than the latest tech out of China. I've had them on my roof for 10 years - still look like new.

@@SolarQuotes Appreciate the reply. That makes sense. I have some information you may be interested in. I’m in the solar game. On our warehouse in 2018 we installed 3 x 3kW single phase systems to our 3 phase commercial building. 1 x Fronius and Jinko 3kW system. 1 x Enphase and Jinko 3kW to compare outputs. We also installed a very cheap 3kW Solis system married to the cheapest panels we could find. The results are interesting indeed. Happy to run you through it. All panels are on a flat warehouse roof facing the same direction. All systems still going strong. We have not cleaned them once to mimic a general home. The Jinko 3kW systems are the same panels tied to string and micros. We did this out of curiosity to see the yields between brands and price.

Your video didn't really explain anything, you're just doing commercial for various brands. I thought you'll talk about the difference between solar panel from China and the ones from other place in the world.
