Thanks. Once I have the oh shits down to only 2 or 3 a day I have a few PC acrylic projects in mind. This and your other vids helped out a ton! Tracking says my router and I are in the same state!

Excellent video for starters. Let me ask something that was not covered, what about foam? Which endmills to use let's say on custom foam inserts.

Plain carbide endmills will work, but specialized foam cutting endmill will do even better. Shameless plug to one of my older videos: kzbin.info/www/bejne/lXe1lGunYpiVa68 -W

AllanScheSar third party connectors for probe clips way before the current touch probe was a thing. This is an old machine.

Can you help ? I need to cleanly cut 3mm aluminium sheet into pieces that seem a puzzle but like 40cm2 area. What the best endmill I should use 1/8 or 1/4 " . I bought a 3mm one to try first to have less waste of material and more detailed in the intrincate curves . I am concerned about the revs my tool spins between 16and 25k revs/min a rotozip mounted on a floating base I made . The end mill is special for aluminium. Appreciate your advise

Do I need an air blowing device? Should I use a lower revs tool instead? I dont want any burr .should I use water spray too? Can you recomend me a make and model of the machine in your videos or any suitable for my project. They are lids for aluminium boxes . The curved shapes are being bent after with a brake press

Can someone tell me how to use the Vbit like they did on the star in this video? I just want the edge Vbited and inside flat like they did. Thanks
@AptdelCielo8 ай бұрын
It didn't show the v bit cut the flat bottom. I imagine they had a clearing path to get most of the star cut using a flat bottom endmill, then finished the details with the v bit.

So I see you cutting the star with a Vbit but had a flat bottom. I did not think you could do that in CC. Are you using something else when you did that?

There's an "advanced Vcarve" feature in beta now. Video to follow.

What about 1/2 in end mills? I’m only seeing 1/8 and 1/4 in most videos and info
@carbide3d2 жыл бұрын
If you own a Shapeoko HDM you can move up to a 1/2” collet and utilize those larger bits.

can you share the file for the wooden bit storage/tray you show on the video?
