Just so everyone knows the highest tension isn't always the best, the higher the tension is only good if you want more control and if you are highly skilled. Typically a smaller string tension is better if you want to generate more power because the strings will be able to generate power from the tiny bit of recoil. So If you want to have a tension between 20- 24 I use a tension between 24-26 because I like the control more

For anyone wondering, pro Japanese athletes uses “beginner” tensions because it offers more defensive repulsion. High tension strings only benefits players who actively attacks and relies on accuracy.

That and also most womens players are going to 24 IB tension as people like Akane Yamaguchi using the 100zz which is a extra stiff racket have found that they get more easily injured at higher tension in stiff rackets

No no no bro. Akane is already a professional, but she prefers lower tension because of her playstle. He just suggested which string is suited for which, But it doesnt affect the professionals because their have their own playstyles and tensions. even me, im a competition player, but i prefer 24-26 tension!

@@nvmfvmit's the opposite bro. high tension make your shot more precise, but if you don't have strong hand, you will not be able to make a strong smash. however, low tension will help you make a stronger shot since there is a bounce that generate powe to smash. but the shot will have less precision.

Actually it is, a higher tension racquet requires the user to hit the shuttle more in the middle, or the softest spot of the whole racquet surface, which requires more skill as it needs accuracy

Why? In general, just don't go beyond the maximum tension of the racquet you bought. If it's your first time playing with a high-end racquet, try strings at lower tension first. Eventually, you can increase it.

@thechnkgy
@thechnkgy 6 ай бұрын
@@PoorAirsofter Hi! I think a general rule of thumb is if you are slightly consistent at accidentally hitting the frame (which can affect the integrity of the racquet frame shape), you might want to move away from 25 lbs and above for the time being. With your self-description, I do think that 21-24 lbs with a durable string (Yonex BG 65 or Yonex Nanogy 95) is best for you. Eventually, if you learn to hit the sweet spot consistently, you can increase the tension for better control and accuracy of shots. I made a big mistake transitioning from 28 lbs to 31 lbs. My strings broke instantly and it was strung just a week ago. I stuck with using Yonex BG 80 Power at 28 lbs and it gives me good power, sufficient hitting sound, and quite good accuracy and control. It's a string marketed at hard-hitting players (aka durable).
