Hello, as a High Rev player (no-thumb), I've had much more success with Symmetrical Reactive AND Urethane both in combo in my bag. Thats all I need to score. I typically start with a Solid Reactive for hooking in medium to heavy oil lane. If lane becomes dry at the point I'm throwing with too much angle, I immediately switch to my urethane ball and play more straightly to the right. I have 2 totally different balls that can match any conditions. So for me, symmetrical for sure. Now, reactive or urethane, it's much a matter of what u already have in ur bag. If it is ur first ball, I would suggest a Reactive ball, otherwise, urethane is one of the best ball to combine to other balls since it can be adapted to all line conditions. As you are a high rev player, you really has an advantage on urethane since you can make it hooks alot.

What are the variables you should be looking for to tell whether or not a ball is going to work for someone and not for another? I'd imagine how well they approach the lane, if they drift, their stability, how accurate their throw is, and I'm sure how fast and how powerful their throw is. Unfortunately the local boys over here make it pretty clear they hate their jobs, so I doubt I'll get any local hands on help, so I'm left to figuring it out for myself. Which is fine with me, I can typically adjust how I do something to be more efficient and effective.
