Love all your videos thank you so much for sharing your knowledge and experience 🙏 One thing I used to do as a child to help my mother - and still do today while I’m sewing- is when I remove a set of buttons from any garment I string them all together with cotton before placing in my containers (and I keep them colour coded for ease of finding what I want for another project). That way if I want a small set for something they’re all together 😊

This video was so helpful! I'm making my own wedding dress and now I have a better idea of what it needs. Thank you! I would love a second opinion on one thing though. The skirt of my dress is a medium-lightweight silk satin for the base. The lace overlay is a nude tulle that's embroidered with ivory thread, giving the dress a beautiful pinkish tint. My plan is to have buttons go all the way down from the waist to the end of the train. Would you suggest that I get satin buttons, or is it more elegant to go with matte fabric?

Jan and Nia sounds great! I would just try both kinds on there and pick the prettiest. They will probably look quite different from one another.

Hi, I have been watching all your videos and I love them all! I am making a wedding gown for my niece and could use lots of help because this will be my first real wedding gown (I was the Corpse Bride for Halloween once if this counts, haha). I am thinking about putting buttons in the back and on the sleeves. Do you purchase smaller buttons for the sleeves? Also, would love to see a video of how you put in the buttons, both functional and just decorative. Thank you for all your wonderful videos and help!

Great vid ideas! Thanks! Will-do. I think it's pretty standard for the buttons to all be the same size.
