Hey a lot of the same information and advice in this video applies to men shoes as it does to women . Heel height, material of the sole is important to be able to do the slides in Kizomba , good fit and snug are all things to look out for. Loafers, leather sneakers, or dedicated dance shoes designed for men are great choices.

I didn’t know that dancing shoes have suede/rubber soles. As a beginner I would go with the flared heels around 6 cm. The padding sounds like a good idea. Question, is it uncomfortable to dance using heel protectors for the shoes?

Hey I don’t notice the heel protector when dancing and the protector actually acts like a flared heel almost giving bit more stability , you can get them pretty cheap on Amazon , worth the investment 😊
