Surprised SCIO not covered as it differs from the English CIO.

The application process is different and being across border charity is also an option, if you're already in England. In terms of choosing a structure it's pretty much the same as a CIO.

I’m still confused, I want to open a charity to help people in need abroad not people in London would that be ok? And also it’s going to be doing the work and fundraising from people I know and the word of mouth - I don’t want any salary from it at all - I need a U.K. charity number to that I can open bank account and people send their money there- so which method do I go with? I need help please 😊

UK charities can work in the UK or abroad but you don't need to register to be a charity. You can crate an unincorporated association very quicky and at no cost. I've created a guide on my website.
