I've owned a pair of Barentz Winter Pro for my treks in Russia and Ukraine. But sometimes I wished there were warmer alternatives. Never knew the Drev existed! Am going to check that our now. Would be awesome if FR would develop easy labeling one day which informs us about the function of the clothing arme their position within the FR range. I bought a lot in FR flagship stores, but even there the staff knowledge does not always span all products and you end up buying an inferior product within the FR range. Always upsetting to have to go and buy 2 items where 1 should have sufficed. YT films only concentrate on history and other marketing talk, forgetting the customers needs in regards to choosing the right product within a sea of choices. Hehe... positive criticism is my intention.

Nice to see Ted on the Fjallraven channel. I just ordered a pair of the Keb Trousers this morning, I've been using the vidda pro's for hiking but could do with the stretch and ventilation features, also they look a bit more 'fitted' than the vidda's, a bit less material around the lower leg. 👍

Hi, We don´t have a video for it, but they are folded inwards and then you sew. The same procedure as jeans. A seamstress/tailor knows how to do it.

Hey FjallRaven, I wonder why my Vidda Pros, Abisko Midsummer Trousers, and Abisko Shorts do not include gear loops? They all fall in your "trekking" category. Out of all my FR bottoms, only the Abisko Lite shorts have a gear loop, and I would consider them the _least_ likely bottom to take out trekking; they are much more of a casual shorts. Sort of confusing!

Unfortunately, the Barents Pro has not met my expectations in terms of robustness / longevity for a few years. In any case, I used to be so used to FR products. Only the Numbers Collection (and with some reservations, the Keb) is still one of the top products for me.

I've abused mine for 3 years, using them almost everyday under any and all meteorological situation, in every kind of situation (not only in the mountain) and I'm pretty satisfied. Sure the crotch area could be reinforced (I've fixed it a couple of times when it comes undone) and the net inside the pocket could be better but they are otherwise indestructible

I've got myself the keb eco shell trousers and the keb eco shell jacket and I'm totally in love with them but I ask myself, how do I wash them properly without a dryer? is there any other way? and is there a chance that the glue of the stripes is getting in the future?

Hi, Please follow the instructions in the care label and if you don´t have a drying cabinet you just let them hang dry in room temperature. What do you mean with glue of the stripes?

I have had shredded 4 keb trousers while Mountaineering. The best Trousers for that because of the double Ventilation on each leg, the stretch and g 1000 too. But now i have chosen a different Brand. I cannot wear them longer. The new fit is to tight for me. In the Pockets of the old Pants were more space! They were more bulky... The Ventilation of the new trousers is useless because the legs are too tight. Please come back to the older fit and the true outdoor useability. My opinion, but my wishes too.

In this video, I miss something like an overview of the different types, in function of activity and temperature. Honestly, I'm a little bit disappointed by the lack of structure of this presentation! You should also have a kind of classification (1 to 5?) with temperature ranges. The choice would then be much easier!

Hi, As for now we are planning more styles with 30" inseam on the men´s trousers. You could have a look our raw length trousers which are longer, but then you can stitch the hem to desired length.

It is possible to stay with one trouser all year long because if the size of the pair you wear is tight than it will be a lot warmer than the same trouser in one size larger which fits looser and more air is getting inside of the trouser. It makes a difference.

Hi, I think you might want to look at our Brenner Pro winter trousers which is part of the hunting range. It has high loft mesh lining and then you can add layers underneath. Our warmest trouser is the Polar Bib trousers. We also have reinforcement layers like Expedition down knickers and Keb touring padded trousers.

I loved my Abisko lite zip off trousers! Until I found what my local Fjallraven calls "wear and tear". 😪 After 9 month (together 6 days hiking and few afternoon walks) 😞 So very disappointed with durability, rest perfect. Sorry Ted, but Abisko Lite is more for dog walking.

Hi, We will increase the number of styles in the men´s collection with short inseam. Right now we have the Vidda Pro trousers short M and Vidda Pro ventilated short M and they are both 30" inseam no matter the size. Note that we also have many of styles with raw length, and then you can stitch the hem to desired length.

I’m supremely bummed fjallraven has decided to discontinue all of their regular size trousers and will only be offering them in longs. They say it’s just easier for them to custom size the pants with a tailor and they won’t have to carry multiple sizes but that absolutely crushes their online market and their stores are almost non existent. Love fjallraven, hate whoever is in charge and making bad decisions for the brand. If you see regular size trousers in stock best grab them cus they won’t be coming back :(

@ I’ve already contacted fjallraven and that’s what they’ve confirmed to me as well told me in store, all your pairs of trousers that don’t have special features for adjusting ankle sizing will be discontinued in regular sizes. Pants like the vida pro and keb trousers will still be available in regular. Standard pants like the Greenland and abisko line, my favorites, will only be sold in longs and will require custom sizing in store. Sadly the long sizes are designed for use with larger people so the hip dimensions, crotch area, and knees are a bit more baggy and makes the pants fit terribly on regular sized people even after getting them sized. Let’s be clear about a few things first: I love your stuff and I have several items in my wardrobe. But you are missing the point! When it comes to the pants the sizing is completely wrong! In your advertising you use a model that is 186cm tall, the average length of males in Sweden is 181cm, which means even if using a raw length pant, the knees are coming way to far low. Not to mention Keb Eco-shell etc which makes me look like an idiot when wearing them with a pile of fabric down by my ankles. Simply said, in “today’s” world nobody is 186cm and using a size 48 as in your adds. You must have noticed by 80% of the reviews the sizing is an issue? The guy in the video is more then 185cm, so it looks good, but the average size population is NOT +185 cm tall. Yes, I’m aware that Vidda Pro also comes in 30” inner seem, but that’s just one pant...the rest of your line seems ok, but the pant sizing needs re-work.

@ please do not change your sizing, I’m 195cm / 6ft 4in and a 48 / 32in waist a 48 long or 32 long fits me perfectly. My friends have all bought or considered Keb trousers, Abisko or Greenland jeans after seeing mine and the fit /quality. Honestly in the UK there is only mountain equipment and Fjallraven that are suitable for the taller and thinner individual. Thank you for making a quality product… having said that a 25% price reduction would be appreciated 😝

Why would have mentioned hunting, then not covered the topic? Anyway, I bought one of those little down jackets, they were asking $300can for them, but thankfully it was a going out of business sale and it only cost $100. No way it was worth more. Made in Indonesia (or something like that), and I’ve never seen down clump and get so messed up after washing, and even after I got it mixed up, it’s migrating. Not impressed at all, especially for what you charge.

Fjallraven, please make pants for people who don't have thin chicken legs...you need to increase men's thigh sizing to what the women's is. I shouldn't have to purchase a size US 36" just so it fits my legs, and then get 4 inches taken out of the waist...make real sizes!...
