Nice content Jeremy, I love your courage to share your life with us, and also you already have a job of creating content, keep exploring your interests and passions, finally, nobody was there when you decided to engage on you tube, therefore no negative comments should discourage you, as we always say, its progress over perfection.

He's already on his 4th career choice, he already successfully pivoted 3 times. His last job/role was product manager if I'm not mistaken.

I saw the same. Uploaded 3 days before this one. Lol. Hope he's doing OK. He looks better in this one.

Jeremy, It’s inspiring to hear about your pivots! We need trained bricklayers in America. It is very good money!

How can anyone change careers if they don't have significant training/education in the career they're switching to? Aside from tech, nothing else can be picked up online without significant training

Most of the people that are successful either don't switch careers, or switch really early. The later you are in your career, the worse the idea it is to switch until you are of course at the end of your career and in that case just take whatever you can as the work world will be forcing you out.
@Life_with_Jeremy6 ай бұрын
I agree it's ideal to switch earlier. However, the next best time is to switch right now otherwise you'll be staying in a job that makes you miserable / drains your soul unless you're able to gut out whatever other benefits the job brings (i.e. pay).

@@Life_with_Jeremyin this modern job market, we can't think like we did in the 20th century. The world is changing rapidly and your building a unique arsenal of skills that will make you incredibly valuable once you learn to harness them all.

I wouldn’t listen to jobless person who can’t get a job in almost a year about changing careers just like I wouldn’t listen to a guy working 3 jobs living paycheck to paycheck about becoming a millionaire.

Ive switched careers successfully 3 times, but I’ve gotten a few of these comments. I see people think my video is about switching careers AND getting the job after the switch. The video is focused on how to find what career to switch to, but clearly it’s not obvious enough

You applied to over 1500+ jobs and can’t find a job, why would anyone want to listen to you? Sure, maybe you’re right, but this doesn’t look good for you.
@Life_with_Jeremy6 ай бұрын
Yea, I get the optics but anyone with any semblance of critical thinking will understand that there's a difference between what career change to make vs. how do I get a job
@BadMannerKorea6 ай бұрын
@@Life_with_Jeremy Changing careers is more challenging and difficult than finding a job in a field you've been in, so my point still stands---if you can't find a job after 1500+ applications why would anyone take you seriously about changing careers?

@@Life_with_Jeremy Then getting a job should be easier, yet you can’t. Strange how this works. It’s because deep down you don’t want a job.
