That's Live's Arrangement View. It can be accessed by hitting the TAB button or clicking the button located in the top right hand corner underneath the CPU meter.

Hey man, excellent teaching skills. I have followed two of your tuts as I don't have Sampler yet. I noticed your warp settings default to warp off and re pitch. How can I set mine up to similar?

I'm very new to abelton. Having an issue folioing this tutorial. I've opened a session at default (120) tempo. When I grab my very first break and drop it in to the arrange screen, the Global tempo changes. In my case it changes to 86.1 . I guess Live is changing to the tempo it thinks the break is at. But in this tutorial, the Global tempo never changes(from 138) after the break is dropped in. My question is was the tempo predetermined so that Live would match it perfectly?... Or can this be changed in preferences i.e. dropping in a sample does not change the Global tempo. Hope I'm being clear.... HELP!!!!!!!! thx

I have ableton 8 suite but I do NOT have a slice to MIDI track option. It doesn't matter where I click, it doesn't matter if I right click or left click. I do not have a Slice option.

On a Mac you hold down CMD while dragging to do both, I assume that's either CTRL or ALT on the PC.

@ryanblaine99778 жыл бұрын
might have to do with the warp settings you have on, i usually go with the "complex" setting
