@@routenote how would i chop more then one sample? would i just keep using simpler on new tracks nd chopping other samples? is there a way to chop more then one sample on the same drum rack without having to create new drum racks for each sample?

Can you manually move a slice line if it doesn't line up the way you want it?

Not sure but you could just slice the sample up in bigger chunks and then isolate the one you want and chop that section

There is a way to assign a specific sample to a specific key. because as i see its alway chopped drom left to right but if im found a harmonic for example a c, i would like to assign that the c4 key in my midi. Can i?

This AZ MAX device dos not appear to want to go into Ableton 11 Suite. On either of my computers - Win 10 PC and Win 11Laptop. I have what appears to be a stand alone Max For Live AZ Labs Slicer but nothing that opens in Ableton. (I do have a lot of M4L devices and have used and loaded them before). Further to this, though I can't add it to my M4L browser in Ableton, I can drag it out of it's Windows folders and place it into Ableton next to Simpler. Still doesn't show up in the M4L device list but there it is in next to Simpler.

Ive watched 50 ableton videos and it seems like i cant just cut up my sounds and fuck with them. its al gotta be some automated shit where i have to click 50 buttons and let the software do the creating. why cant i just make a sound and hack it up and glue it back together differently. Im so sick of ableton, i can make shit faster in any old ass software:

I don’t understand…. It’s so easy. You just use Simpler and change the mode to Manual and then press the pads as you make the chops. Are you not using a MIDI controller?
