Slow motion makes the fight look epic!!

One of the most important factors of choreography dueling; treat it like an actual duel. You see an opening in your opponent, go for it. Aim for your opponent's vulnerable areas, the neck, the sides, the chest, the limbs. The area you don't aim for is the one thing that can stop you from killing your opponent; their lightsaber. It's their job to bring it around and block your strike, so you don't have to keep making sure you hit it.
@juicymuscprod96243 жыл бұрын
Something the sequels messed up, you can easily tell they were attacking the lightsabers and not themselves.
@patrioticjustice90403 жыл бұрын
@@juicymuscprod9624 All Rey does is scream while hacking and slashing. Where that an actual duel, she'd be dead in five seconds. If she's dumb enough to charge, you could side step her and slice her throat or her back as she runs past. Or, if she's doing the usual baseball bat routine, rap your blade against her knuckles as she's swinging the sword, then go for the throat or chest.

Another suggestive choreography - The opponent runs at you with his sabre - and the defender does a riposte and then a LF push sweep at the offender's shoulder to take him down. The defender then does a rolling coup de grace blow but the offender does a log roll L to avoid the strike as the defender's blade hits the ground, and the offender does a kip up - all while still holding the blade. After the kip up, the offender tries to strike the defender face level but the defender responds with a horizontol black into a sustained Cross-X touching blades. The cross-X should allow the blades to go down close to the ground. Then the defender releases and does a quick overhead strike to the offender's head, and the offender should make a screaming grunt, indicating that he was directly hit. Then the hit opponent should fall to the ground, dropping his blade before he falls, and pretends that he is dead. The defender then holds the lighted blade in "zanshin" position - 45 degree angle towards the ground, to make sure the opponent is dead, and when he is, the defender turns off the light from the sabre.

Wussup, love all your features and I am just now getting to where I can try to use some more advanced things in my editing. I do everything on my phone, from filming, to drawing, editing, FX, voice over, music, etc.- if it's in my video, I did it with my phone. I recently tried overlaying one of your Glitch transitions and key out the green like I do any other green screen, but my Powerdirector Pro app wouldn't do it for some reason. I may have come to the end on my phone's abilities and have to move to a computer program like Premier.
@ProductionCrate6 жыл бұрын
Yeah phone's are still fairly limited for editing, computers are the way to go if you want to get more serious with them!
@videotherapy19915 жыл бұрын
If you want to do keying on your phone, I recommend KineMaster. I edit on PC but when I use KineMaster I am always surprised at how many advanced features are in it.

Also, if you HAVE a PC and don’t want to spend money on editing, HitFilm Express is a great software. It has pretty much anything you could possibly need and it’s free. That’s what I use for my videos.

Idk. It’s kinda… boring. It’s the same block over and over again. You should have done what you guys were talking about. Get creative change up those blocks. Maybe half way through one person changes to defense and holds his saber upside down. Spin the blades in your hand. Other than that o really liked the filming for the ending fight scene. Very good editing. Nice work!

@IknillU100x4 жыл бұрын
thats absolutely how not to make a lightsaber duel look like. actually there was only on move repeated 20 times in hard core slow motion. boring af. only good thing were the effects which u fckd up at 7:16 btw. 1. less or myb no slow mo at all 2. do some different moves 3. make it last longer then actual 10 sec (perhaps thats why there is 90% slow mo, to stretch the bs a little bit)
