I think you are a good teacher. I call ok but the more tips and tricks I can learn from the Bugler is very helpful. Anything I can learn to help seal the deal is much appreciated.

I was really struggling with the sound of my bugle at the end of it, and this video really helped me smooth it out and give it a more quality end sound. The ol’ punch 🥊 in the gut is exactly what I needed, thank you Sir!

I think you’re a good teacher, I’m getting better. According to my kids, I started out sounding like a rabid rabbit, and now they say I kinda sound like an elk, so thanks for the tips!

Hey @THEBUGLER I have a question to send your way. The issue I encountered last year hunting solo was having bulls hang up somewhere between 15-70yds in thick dark timber while calling them. Then they’d move off and I’d chase them for miles and miles. 7 or 8 different bulls all did the same thing all September. Some of them were trying to get downwind of me and some did. Those bulls would go quiet, not to be heard again. What might you recommend to bring them in and show themselves for a shot?

When they hang up in the thick stuff, I get aggressive and move in on them danger close. As long as they can't see me, I keep moving in making plenty of noise like an elk. I call aggressively at this time with a bark and scream, or bark and chuckles, depending on how the bull has been calling to me.

Dang it Dirk. This isn’t an easy task. I have wore out 2 calls practicing. I think I am finally starting to get the bugle. Or maybe I have myself talked into thinking I am getting it.
