Hello, yeah i do not deep clean my planted tanks ever. I see some scrub the buggery out of them and then they have fish problems . I lightly hover the gravel cleaner over the substrate and get what i can such as waste and dead leaves . And i never remove the ornaments or anything, just clean the filters/pumps/intakes . I think less is more also and can upset the balance of the tank if one over does it. Thanks so much for the video, it was fantastic. \0/

Nice video. your return and exit hoses are too long - they should not have large loops on them. No big thing.

Are the canisters too terribly hard to use and maintain? I never own one i guess too squeamish to actually try one. :)
@charlesh22259 жыл бұрын
Hello, Canisters can obviously hold much more biological media. Normally, they only need maintenance once per month. They are not as accessible as HOBs and more expensive, but IMHO better. Be Well

+LAna St.ColumB Get a fluval canister. You will thank us later. I am a noob to the hobby and it's easy to understand. Just keep up on maintenance by reading your manual and you are good.

Most of that much is actually just dirt from the substrate/dirt.
