I have a LG $3500 tv, and I also bought a new pawtec tv dust cover,works great! but I still get the normal spots and stuff on it! So I remembered in my youth that my grandparents would clean their glasses they would take there breath and fog them up! So I went to my local eye doctor and got some good eye glasses cleaning cloths and then I took and put two together and then I take and my breath and fog a little spot and then wipe it down in a circular motion! Been doing this for years and my TV looks great 👍 and it takes a while but it’s totally worth it!✌️

Due to my hands, I prefer to hand wash the dishes. I recently discovered Wettex Sponge Cloths by Vileda which are much easier to squeeze than the thick sponge-scourer I used to have. I also pre-rinse, wash & air dry dishes like you do. Life is too short to worry about permanent stains & multiple tea towels to launder. New subscriber from Australia.👍

I wrap my remotes in plastic food wrap and use a little scotch tape to keep it together. When it's time to change batteries, just tear it off and put on a new one. This is especially good because I have a very small table where I eat and some water or coffee can spill and even condensation from water bottles that were in the freezer can seep into the remote.

What's your opinion on those LED screen cleaner kits(the ones that include a cleaning cloth and a mystery cleaning spray) are they dangerous?
@AskAngelaBrown2 жыл бұрын
Great question. They usually work fine if used as instructed. It's the glass cloth that does all the heavy lifting and the cleaner is a pH-neutral cleaner that dampens the cloth. The kits are usually really expensive for what you're getting but they work well. 👍

I watched your video too late. I sprayed water directly on my plasma tv and wiped with a microfiber cloth. It's all smudged now. Is there any way to removed the streaks now?
@AskAngelaBrown3 жыл бұрын
Use a damp microfiber cloth that is almost dry to rub off the smudges. Water is not a friend to the plasma screen. You can also breathe on the streaks, much like you would blow hot breath on your hands in the wintertime to heat them up - and then wipe the screen with a dry microfiber cloth. That should remove the smudges. 👏

Very good sister. Keep up the good work, your awesome honey. So I sprayed the living room with Lysol disinfectant in the air and if it gets on the TV, I'm screwed. 🥴🤔✌️💙🏇🏇🏇
@AskAngelaBrown Жыл бұрын
Hi and thank you for your kind words. I appreciate you taking the time to drop me a line. Yes, If it the Lysol spray leaves spots on the TV, a damp (almost dry) microfiber cloth would be my recommendation for removing it. Just get the cloth damp enough to help lift the spots, but not wet enough that it will leave traces of water or streaking on the screen. Use a gentle z shaped rubbing over the spots to buff the screen clean. 🤗

I have a question about cleaning a flat screen tv and the base of the tv. My mother has a small flat screen tv in the kitchen and it’s visibly dirty with grease and dust on the screen and the base. Are electronic wipes/ spray safe? Will the E cloth and water work to clean off the stuck on grease? Thanks for your help!
@AskAngelaBrown3 жыл бұрын
Is the screen a film like (soft) screen or does it have a glass front? If you have grease on the screen you may want to try a dry terry cloth first to see how much of it you can wipe off. (The terry cloth will wash out in the washing machine and won't scratch the screen.) Then you might try the other options mentioned in the video. I wouldn't use a chemical on the screen if you can prevent doing so.
@yemiyemi17193 жыл бұрын
@@AskAngelaBrown it’s a soft screen and the grease and dust has accumulated over 5 years. The tv has never been cleaned. The grease is from the cooking not from the screen being touched.

Ever since I was a kid I loved to deep clean some objects around me, I was really curious about cleaning and cooking. Once I saw that the keybord of the family's computer was really dirty so I thought I'll soak It in a big container with water and soap(I was a kid). The keybord came out of the water container very clean but totally damaged, so, lesson learned... Anyway, I didn't get how to sanitized your own keyboard from bacteria, could yo be more specific on that? Thank you Angela.

I don’t recommend house cleaners sanitize electronics. If you are a homeowner, you can carefully use a Clorox wipe to wipe a remote but chemicals can ruin computer screens so I do not recommend it.

Many webstes recommend products that will eventually damage your screen. This sounds like it would damage the screen but I use a attachment for a drill it's really soft like a duster. All I do is use a microfiber cloth then I use the drill attachment I have the drill at a low speed that's all I use. No screen damage and it doesn't remove the protective coating on the screen. I did this for years no screen damage and the screen has no finger prints dust or grimmie junk.

dont use bottled or filterd water. only use distilled water. Bottled water has minerals in it that scratch the screen as its just tap water with extra chemicals added to it and salt to make u thristy to get u drink more of it. with sugar or sweetners added to cover up the taste of the salt. Filtered water doesnt remove much either. studies have shown that filtered water is actualy worse for u than tap water. it removes the minerals the body needs and can only get from water. but doesnt remove the chlorine or flouride and concentrates them a lot more. plus harmfull bactiria breeds in the filter so the filter needs to be changed after every use. distilled water gets boiled to turn it to steam which removes the minerals then through a charcoal filter to remove the chlorine which doesnt get removed just by boiling it.

Ahahahah you mean how to scratch up you tv and leave it greasy. Buy some t.v cleaner if you want your t.v nice ammonia free and alcohol free and use a microfiber cloth that is damp. Get it all wet wash the dust off it and ring it out. Spray the cloth not the t.v with the t.v cleaner on one side wash most the dirt off then flip it over and use less cleaner to wipe the t.v a second time then use a microfiber cloth that is dry and buff your t.v with it. Just like you would a car, wax on wax off in a circular motion and either use a flashlight or a light in your room to reflect off the t.v feom corner to corner until you see nothing but the reflection of you and your room. Its not the fastest or easiest way but it for sure works the best that ive seen. Without the t.v cleaners you can just use water but don't use purified water if you can help it, it has a lot of minerals and crap that is ruff. Hope this helps anyone looking for the same thing i was and found trash 😂.
