Just a heads up... Make sure if you are using normal window cleaner, MAKE SURE you are not using an ammonia based cleaner! It will leave invisible residue that will react with combustion by products, as well as possibly damage the protective coating on the glass!

Should a gas fireplace chimney be cleaned also? If so, how often? I'm replacing the contents of the fireplace with glass and I wondered if you had any advice? Thank you in advance!

Yes heard to not use winded ever and people need to know how to get to the point where you can remove the glass - lifting the top and bottom grill sections
