Great Vid guys I use a bit of sea salt to clean the skottle too Hey would be nice if it had adjustable legs. I also noticed yours has a wind guard on burner mune does not

Thanks! You can order the wind guard from Jerry at Tembo Tusk. It really does make a difference. We are in the process of getting longer legs made. We are working with a local shop here in Colorado. We camp in sand and snow often and longer legs would really help. But now I need to see if we can make the longer legs adjustable. That is a great idea. We are having our legs made of aluminum to save weight and not rust. Thank you for the idea. If it works, we will let you know. Adjustable would be much easier to level.

You can. It will need to be reseasoned after.

You should find better results if you just get it hot enough to where you can't touch it with your fingers then pour the water on. What you are doing is charring all of the seasoning and it will begin to flake away over time. Your method does not allow the oil to permeate the natural pores in the metal creating a great seasoning, it's just scalding everything making a less than optimal barrier. It also promotes foods sticking to the pan creating the same issue. If you develop a thick seasoning that is seasoned properly food will not stick and clean up is much easier. As a bonus you will burn a lot less fuel.

Not cheap for sure. But, ours has been used for years... A lot and still is as good as new.
