Mine looked like yours until I cut it open and it was white instead of red. Sweet, refreshing, and definitely a new ingredient for my next smoothie of papayas, 🍑, 🍒, 🍓, 🫐, 🍌, Almond milk, peach yogurt and of course half a 🐉 fruit! Soaking with salt is not necessary. Bacteria present on the surfaces of plants are usually somewhat tolerant towards low salt concentration. Therefore the low amounts of salt is not enough to effectively kill any bacteria.

Hi there, thanks for stopping by and thanks for the input. I grew up soaking vegetables and fruit in water + salt and a little vinegar combo to naturally clean them. But you’re welcome to do whatever you want, goal here is to remove as much germs as possible 😊

Are there different kinds of dragon fruit cause the one i got today was white inside. Ive had drink from starbucks excellent tasting. But the white has no flavor

Mine was completely white on the inside! Right under the skin was pink, but the fruit was white!

This was organic Dragon fruit, It's somewhat hard to find, but you can also buy the frozen ones.

Hi there, i always clean them especially if I buy them from a store. Just my preference. Now, if it’s fresh from a farm, it would be ok to just peel it off.
