This is one of my favorite cuts of meat. BEEF HEART!
If you wanted to try organ meats but liver is to pungent for you, I highly suggest trying beef heart. It's very high in B vitamins. It has about 383% your daily value. And just 3 ounces has 26 grams of protein and 70% RDA in Non-Heme iron. (the highly absorbable version of iron not found in plants)
It might seem little intimidating because there's a lot of stuff to clean up on it, but don't be discouraged. You can clean in just a few minutes and get it ready for the grill. BUT GET A GOOD KNIFE!

I've cooked beef heart broiled in the oven and I've also done it over an open fire on a grill. Beef heart always turns out better over fire for some reason. I also find that marinating them in a soy sauce Worcestershire mixture or something similar always works well.
