I think at the end of the whole process of cleaning/descale cycles, it was worthwhile to do one more descale cycle but with the fresh filtered water back in the tank. That flushed out any last remaining tablet or descale residue before my next cup of coffee!

I don’t know why. But when I do that the water comes out the portafilter. I use the single basket and the cleaning disc but the water comes out. 🤷🏻‍♂️ The water don’t pass through the valve.

I've just done my first cleaning with the tablet (after around 2 months of use) and noticed that the pressure does not max out. Any ideas why? Please note that I've newer model, so there should be no water coming out and the pressure should be maximum (I assume?).

Why do you fill full tank for descaling instead of only 1 litre as breville recommends

For whatever reason, the 2 lights on my unit under the program button did not light up when i selected off and 2 cup for descaling. It seems like it went thru the process as yours did…??

If the light is solid you descale. If the light is blinking you backflush with tablet. You might have done the wrong cleaning that's why.

Once you've put the descaling solution with water and go thru process and once that's finished. You should apply Only clean water and do the same process with Only clean water. That's what I was told so you get out all that descaling solution out of your machine Yummm????

Yes. Once the descaling process is finished, you want to run clean water through all sources (wand and portafilter) before making coffee. Same goes for the cleaning process as well.

Yea you need to run a full tank of clean water and repeat the process of group head, wand, water spout until the tank is depleted.
