How to Clean and Maintain Corian Solid Surface Countertops

Do you know how to clean and maintain corian solid surface countertops? In this video I'll show you how!!
Corian is a very popular solid surface material and is a cheaper alternative than natural stone countertops like quartz, granite, etc. They come in lots of different finishes ranging from matte to high gloss, they're very durable, easy to clean and my favorite thing about them is they're non porus so you dont have to keep them sealed all the time.
To clean them, you will need a mild dish soap and a cleaning cloth. Use warm soapy water and wipe down the countertops to easily remove any grease and grime.
If you encounter any stains on the corain countertops use an ammonia based cleaner to remove them. Easiest thing to do is just mix some straight ammonia and water in a spray bottle, start with a 10 to 1 ratio for your mixture.
Lastly, if someone has been sick in the house and you need to disinfect the counters you can do that last after they've been cleaned by using a disinfectant wipe. Just wipe them down and make sure that the counters stay visibly wet with that disinfecting solution for the amount of time written on the bottle. And that is how to clean corain countertops!!

Hey Tommy, I hope you and your family are doing well during the cold winter months. I don't have Corian counters I have formica which would be nice if you have a video on that. My question is about finding a good housekeeper for a reasonable price. What would you suggest I do to find one. I hurt my leg recently and my house is getting really dirty and I am considering hiring somebody for a one time cleaning or maybe twice. I have no idea where to start looking for that. Hello Miss Eva! Formica is a brand name for laminate countertops, so when you are asking how to clean Formica what you are really asking is how to clean laminate countertops. And you clean them the exact same way from this video 🙂 As far as a housekeeper is concerned you should expect to pay no less then $25-30 per hour per person you hire. At least in Arkansas anyways. So if it's a crew of 2 people then they would each be getting around $25-30 per hour at the very least especially if they are providing all the cleaning supplies, vacuums, mops, etc. Hope this helps let me know if you have anymore questions.
