Which solution is the one that smells like grass? I was having a little trouble locating on Amazon! Also, how do you keep the weeds out? Thank you! This is something we are needing to tackle this Summer, so even after two years this video is so so helpful! THANK YOU AGAIN!

I. Think prokleen do a fresh cut grass scent but it isn’t true to life! The lavender one is lovely. Pull the weeds by hand and then mix a little industrial weed killer into your cleaning solution and apply every month or so to keep them at bay

Really good job..I have a question..I have the same power brush but I have to pull it towards me and walk backwards to clean the grass but you are pushing it forwards...how?
@KirbsideCleaning Жыл бұрын
Yeh I started off that way but a local chap was the other way, you just undo the transmission and turn it round and tighten it back up, super simple! Takes about 5 minutes and there’s a video on KZbin, manufacturers actually recommend certain direction for certain attachments

Hi great video, im uk based, in your opinion what is better for 100 m² area to pick up Debris etc, a wet and dry vac or a electrical mower type machine? Great video by the way!!🇬🇧
@KirbsideCleaning3 ай бұрын
Never used the electric type mower style machine but they look good. I also offer gutter clearing so made sense to use the vac rather than buying another bit of kit.
@davidlpeterson62752 жыл бұрын
In the states, we use infill (1.5 to 2 pounds per square feet). Do they use infill in England? I would think you would vacuum it up if you used your wet/dry and the homeowner used infill. Great video.

Hi David, I’m not 100% hot on how they lay artificial grass, but I know I have had some clients say can I do this for them. This particular client actually laid the grass himself and didn’t use any, it’s actually laid on MDF board 😅😂 but he’s having it replaced!

Hi, awesome video! What is the name for the vacuum that you used?

It’s a skyvac might atom that I use mainly for gutter vacuuming - i wouldn’t recommend one for at home grass cleaning as they are about £600 but any wet and dry vac will do 👌

100%. I do always mention it when I book them in but never had anyone disagree. You can get away with just collecting the debris without a hoover, obviously won’t be as good but can get the job done

@KirbsideCleaning Жыл бұрын
Clean it and treat it. A bleach solution can also help with the initial removal, but you have to keep ontop of it. If you are getting moss it’s probably been laid incorrectly

Hey, yes it does it’s a great bit of kit, I’m actually currently one a really dusty grass clean now and all I’d recommend is that you frequently stop to hoover the piles as any bit of wind and the go everywhere!!

What is the best piece of equipment, for falling tree parts, small twigs etc, on artificial grass?
@KirbsideCleaning2 жыл бұрын
Hi Mandy, I’d defiantly recommend a power broom which is what I use in the video, mine is petrol powered but you can also get electric ones which are cheaper. You can also just use a standard hard bristled broom but you’ll l defiantly feel it the next day! Once you have piled your debris you can either hoover it up, on a dry day you house hoover will usually be just fine if you pick up the larger bits first, or just manually pick up the piles.
@Mandy_Songwriter952 жыл бұрын
@@KirbsideCleaning Yes - I've had enough of the standard bristled broom. And so has my back !!!! Lol Thank you very much for replying to me. I will definitely look into it. @KirbsideCleaning2 жыл бұрын
@@Mandy_Songwriter95 I just looked and it looks like it’ll do the trick! You would get a slightly better result but brooding first as the vacuum won’t get any debris that’s stuck under the pile. But will 100% help massively!

What’s the best way to get burns out of artificial grass? We had a party last year and a firework didn’t launch and has left a massive burnt area. Thanks
@KirbsideCleaning2 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the comment Curt! I’d say that in my experience carefully trying to cut away the burnt sections without creating to much of an uneven spot would be your best bet. Unfortunately with artificial grass being a plastic once its burnt there isn’t a way to clean it off. Replacing the spot might alway be a viable option!

Of all the shades of green, why would you use illuminous? Looks sooo fake. Wouldn't real grass be cheaper also?
@KirbsideCleaning2 жыл бұрын
The positives to artificial grass are generally they are low maintenance, no need to cut it, water it and it stays the same colour all year round. I have never paid to have fake grass but I don’t think it’s cheap, although over time it would work out cheaper than having real grass in respect to electricity/petrol cutting it and if you choose, water to water it to keep it green. We currently have a hose pipe ban in the UK and everyone’s real grass is brown
