I have quite a few artisan pads and I just keep the cardboard sleeve they come in and store the mouse pad in the sleeve, then I put them down the side of my desk so they aren't taking up loads of room, that way when I swap pads It's unlikely they will be dusty, just thought I'd post this for anyone that's like me that has multiple pads and likes to swap. I did this like 2 years ago and it just slows the mousepad down. I mean the texture doesn't seem to be wash friendly and became slower than my brother's artisan zero. The hien can't really be washed without it slowing down because its very fragile. maybe if you wash it 3 times over different occasions until it slows down a lot but it definitely slows down maybe 5-10% each time depending on how hard you do it. maybe regular mouse pads slow down like 2% each wash but the hien basically can't truly maintain the same speed after washing it I'm pretty sure.
