i used to buy a new mousepad every 2months, because washing it wouldn't revive the glide. I probably used the wrong type of soap + damaged the pad with my sponge. Will try to clean it like in you did in the video next time

Idk I just used regular pray on dish soap yesterday and scrubbed every inch of my hien with a tooth brush, rinsed out the soap, dried it off, put a towel under it to soak in the moisture still coming out and it was literally like a brand new mousepad, took like 6 hours to dry out with a towel below it.

Is soap with coconut oil good? Aslong as it doesnt have sodium loureth sulfate ?
@baconfizz36353 ай бұрын
As a professional piece of breakfast, I can say yes. Just make sure you really scrub out your pad because oil is a bit harder to get out. Use warm water too

What about Sodium Lauroyl isethionate? in a dove bar
@baconfizz3635 Жыл бұрын
I would like to give you a good answer but sadly i am not a scientist and only some piece of breakfast who likes to make silly online videos. I suggest goggling if Sodium Lauroyl isethionate is bad for your skin, and the rule of thumb here is that you wanna have the least amount of chemical BS that destroys your skin.

would you recommend letting the mousepads dry out in the sun or do you think it will get burnt if it does get burnt, what if you add one towel for the bottom and one towel on to for it to dry in the sun?
@baconfizz36352 ай бұрын
Honestly I have no definitive opinion on that since I am only a piece of breakfast. If I were to take a guess, it would only burn your mousepad if you lived in the desert and the temps scorching hot. I'd say the real problem is the heat affecting more the surface area. It could ever so slightly wither away at it and change its performance. My tip: Just place down a towel, place you pad on the towel, pat dry the mousepad for a minute and keep out of direct sunlight. Let sit for 24 hours since there will be moisture trapped in your pad even if the surface feels dry. TRUST ME on that last one. GLHF

the UV rays will bleach out the fibres and most likely also make them more brittle.

@thetaswarm ye, but what if I add a white towel on top of the mousepad? I live in florida so idk if the sun is too bright, and I've had my raiden for like, 1 week and I've been making sure I'm not putting any sweat on it with a paper towel

Use the least f**ked up soap. Like real simple soap. If you dont have that then just use regular hand soap that isnt aggressive. Only use a little bit of it, mix it in a bowl with some water and use that as your "soap supply". Be sure to also use "WARM" water, not hot water

Can I use a sponge?
@zigzag3349Ай бұрын
I wouldn't, you want something that wont shed anything into the mousepad, sponges easily shed material, use microfiber cloths like he said, you can usually get them from a dollar store if you ha happen to be strapped for cash.

Bought it in a regular grocery store. If you can't find it then use a soap without the harmful ingredients mentioned in the video.

Are you still alive. Is shampoo for kids alrite for cleaning mousepad. I tried getting a small bit of it in my eye and it doesn't hurt. Is dat gud? Also doesn't have sulfates.
@baconfizz36359 ай бұрын
i guess the whole purpose is to avoid sulfates. If your baby shampoo doesnt have any its should be good. Watch out for oils in your shampoo though. If it contains oil then you will have to rinse your mousepad very well with water to make sure all the soap comes out
@hdono85429 ай бұрын
@@baconfizz3635 Also doesn't have oils

@@hdono8542should be fine. Just make sure you wash out all the soap. Thats something people never get right. Also dont be impatient. Let your mousepad dry properly or else its going to get dirty very fast. Playing on a damp mousepad will attract a lot of dirt
