I’ve used every cleaning product that I have on hand and also cleaned the Jets and the filter! I’ve used a whole gallon of bleach, a whole gallon of vinegar, laundry detergent, Dawn dish soap, Krud Kutter and Super Clean. I have Cleaned several times in two day’s with hot water and let it run each time for 45 minutes. Every time I think it’s clean, it’s not. I fill it up after cleaning and rinsing, fill it up and turn it on and I’m still getting this green/yellow ring around the tub. I’m now trying Cascade dishwasher powder. If this doesn’t work I will try the product your using. Thank You!

Clean With Confidence Well the Cascade failed and all of the other attempts haven’t worked, still getting the green/yellow ring around the tub. I will still buy the product you recommend to get it real clean. I think it’s time to change the anode rod in the hot water heater and disinfect/chlorinate it when I have it apart, it could be coming from there because sometimes that will happen. Thank You for your great video! 👍🏻👍🏻

My jetted tub was on well water for a good 10 years. We have city water now. The jets are stained orange. I cannot get them to unscrew. I am interested in trying this product. However, these jets are so gross I feel I should use the entire bottle! Maybe 2 or 3 initial cleanings in a row? What do you think? Also, what would you recommend to get the orange off? I bought a house with one of these older model Kohler tubes. I haven't used it much in the past year and I noticed the filter gets moldy looking after about two weeks. Cleaning ladies bleach it, but since the filter cover doesn't come off, I guess it builds up. Just ran a cycle of Simple Green through it (before I found your channel). No real yuck came out, thankfully, but the filter cover still has some mold on it. Urgh. Cleaning ladies coming tomorrow. Wondering if I should just keep the jets closed from now on. I don't think I should be using it as a tub anymore. :-(

Would it be more affective using hot water than cold?
@CleanWithConfidence5 жыл бұрын
Both temperatures work
@Ez4u2bnvs5 жыл бұрын
Hot water will always be more effective in removing bio films (and general dirt / sediment buildup) it helps to soften the organic material allowing more cleaner / biocide to penatrate the film enhancing removal. I am an engineer for water treatment chemical company and we periodically do equipment cleanings on large industrial systems to clean biological fouling such as heat exchangers and cooling towers, cleaning procedures always call for use of hot water when feasible.

I just bought a home in foreclosure and the jetted tub is disgusting. I’m thinking if the jets in your video were that black and nasty after running a cycle, wouldn’t it be just as gross in all the joints and angles of all the piping underneath?!
@MrLucifuge19735 жыл бұрын
The pipes are formed around the tub. From the pump to the jet is generally one piece. So there isn't a place for it to accumulate until the water passes through the jets. Hope this helps. Take care.

You should be wearing gloves when touching any cleaning products and maybe even a face mask too. Cleaning product ingredients typically have the worst known side effects for our respiratory systems including nasal passages and can impact our vocal chords as well as our lungs. Mold is some scary stuff to deal with too. Thank you for your video and links though. I'm eager to discover what the ingredients are in the liquid you used.

Hi there! The Jets in my whirlpool tub have WAY too much power! They shot all over the bathroom! We only have a timer on the wall and aren't sure how to remedy this. Recently moved in. Any tips?
@CleanWithConfidence4 жыл бұрын
Personally, I am no Whirlpool professional. If it were me I would just make sure the jets are pointed down and of course not turn them on until tub is full. If that doesn't work you will probably have to call a local handyman to check it out for you. :)
@lynnmarta5757 Жыл бұрын
The outer housing ring on the jets on my Kohler tub will rotate to control the power of the jet. You can try rotating the outer housing of the ring-it may control the power of the water flow coming out of your jets-good luck!
