How to Clean Carboys with PBW

Man. Good video. Idk why other people dont have a good lengthy video about carboy cleaning with pbw. Im extra about everything. But I still want to make sure im doing it EXACTLY right. THANK YOU!

Only thing. It says to rinse with water that's the same temp as the cleaning water. Does that mean the temp that the cleaning water was when it was hot? Or the temp that the cleaning water becomes after it gets cold from sitting out?

I imagine that's more for situations where you have been cycling hot water PBW through, and the glass is still quite hot from the water. You'd want to keep rinsing with hot water, as cold water hitting the hot glass could cause damage. As I let my carboys sit like this overnight, the water cools to ambient, as you state. I always dump out the PBW water and rinse with hot, as it's more efficient at getting any residue out. I wouldn't worry about anything beyond that. Thanks for the question!

Does pbw dont bubble or foam?

It does fizz quite a bit when you first add the water. After a few minutes, the fizzing slows down and stops. 😁
