Amazingly they cleaned up great. I suggest placing a lid on your cauldron to keep the shoes submersed in the Oxy. Pizza pan with a pot on water on top.🤷‍♀️ Loving these dailies Drew.👍👍

I'm going to try this with my own white shoes. I tried the detergent Hairy Tornado was told to used from the shoe woman at the flea market and that did well but I must have scrubbed too hard cause it caused them to looked frayed on top. Other then that it worked well.

The yellowing came from some form of bleach used. You may have super chlorinated water or used soap that had bleach in it

I Spray them with fabric stain remover let them sit a few hours, remove laces and inserts, soak them in a bucket with bleach for s few hours, place laces and inserts in a mesh clothes washing bag, ($ store) place them in washing machine shoe bags, and machine wash them with bleach. I wash them with towels. Only a few pair at a time. Don’t recommend doing this in machine with a agitator. Dry outside. Any remaining marks can be removed with dry eraser or hard toothbrush using dawn dishsoap, peroxide or in extreme cases for bottoms only rub with acetone. If the shoes are colored use oxiclean in the washer. Do not dry shoes in the dryer. Lol

Hi! you’re gonna have to scrub them with a brush. Get some oxi and water, make a paste and scrub it on the shoes for a bit and let them sit in the sun

It's crazy how clean those got. I soaked some hats in oxiclean trying to get sweat stains out and only got minimal results. I also had a red hat in there that stained the white parts of the other hats. Was only $1 in on 4 hats so no huge loss and I learned something.

Red is a notoriously fugitive dye. There's a trope of one red garment turning a whole load of laundry pink.
