The gun sav lube didn’t work too well with my marker, use what you want to use. I recommend using some planet eclipse lube because it’s really similar the the stock lube that comes with the marker. It’s around $10 for a tin of it.

I was pretty weary about getting the mini GS as my first electronic marker, because I’ve never done any cleaning on one and it’s intimidating tbh when I have zero knowledge of the bolt system at all (I’ve only owned a tippman cronus) so I was gunna get an axe 2.0 but they’re so damn expensive including getting a brand new hopper for it and a new air tank (because my current tank is out of date) I mean, I would be dropping like upwards of 700$ on the axe 2.0, but after watching this video I honestly might just buy the mini as my first entry tournament grade marker. I still have no idea what the eyes are and how to clean them, and I would greatly appreciate if you could make a video on that. Thanks a lot for this tutorial.

You will be extremely happy with the Mini GS. The eyes are electronic sensors inside of the gun that tell it when their is a paintball inside. You don’t have to clean them often when everything is working great!

Hey man. I’m trying to set my mini gs empire to fully automatic

Hold the trigger down, turn it on. It’ll go into programming mode. On the first color, hold the trigger down until the light turns off, pull and release the trigger 4 times. Wait 5 seconds. Now turn the gun off and back on and you should be in full auto.

Do you guy not unscrew and clean out the eye sensors?

Not usually on a basic living and cleaning. You can see the eyes form the breach and used your barrel swab to clean then without removing them. If you remove them often you run the risk of damaging them. We do recommend to do a deep cleaning twice a year where you take it completely apart.

BTW for anyone watching this, the eyes are not those little white bumps that you see from the feedneck. Those are the detents. Still clean them but to properly clean the eyes you have to pull the board from the upper frame and clean them that way. This is a very misleading video

Yes those little white bumps are actually your ball detents that hold the ball in position until it is fired. You will want to clean those detents from time to time, especially if you have any balls break in your gun. The eyes are the light emitting diodes that are attached to the upper board that is housed between the main body and that tray about the grip frame.
