This gun looks SO EASY to fix and work on, I'm glad that this is the first speedball gun that I got. It is a good intro to the speedball world.

Super solid video. I would like fifty times over if I could. People do not understand how important it is to adequately clean your marker for the longest possible performance. Would donate if you had a Patreon. Thanks man!

So anytime you take the bolt out to clean you have adjust the velocity afterwards?
@lukeskywalkerfpv9955
@lukeskywalkerfpv9955 3 жыл бұрын
No, you can take the bolt out and not have to adjust velocity. If you take the bolt apart for cleaning. Then you do

Yeah it is surprising that there is a right and wrong orientation for the spring but it does need to lock onto the bolt. Glad you were able to get that issue resolved!

If I just cleaned the bolt and didn’t mess with the velocity do I have to crank the velocity at all
@ProEdgePaintball
@ProEdgePaintball 2 жыл бұрын
No you shouldn’t need to touch it. The gun might fire at a higher velocity due to the cleaning if the gun was extremely dirty would be the only concern.

Can you shoot the gun without a paintball in it? You put your finger down the breach? To clean debris
@BadAssBusDriver
@BadAssBusDriver 3 жыл бұрын
Go to 9:50 and he goes over how to shut the eye off. The eye is what prevents the gun from shooting without a paintball. Turning off the eye will allow you to dry fire. Do NOT pull the trigger with your finger in the breach.

My spring stay in the gun when i remove the bolt, even when the spring was on the right side (slight clicking), do you think it can be an issue ? Thx
@ProEdgePaintball
@ProEdgePaintball Жыл бұрын
Not an issue at all! It is very normal for the spring to be locked into place in the body of the gun after taking the bolt system out. A sure fire way to remove that spring is to just run your barrel swab through the body of the gun. The swab will pull the spring out no problem!

I have the empire axe 2.0 I had have it for about a year now and my paint is curving when I shoot the gun. I have tried different brands of paint and still have to the same issue. Any tips or recommendations?
@ProEdgePaintball
@ProEdgePaintball 3 жыл бұрын
I would try a better quality of paintball that other players are shooting straight with, then try it in your gun. This will tell you if it’s a gun issue or a paint issue!

Each player shoots a different amount of paintballs so it’s hard to say how many games until it needs to be cleaned. 4000 paintballs would be 20 hoppers full.

How often do you clean the gun? Like once 2k balls shot? or every time you plau
@marcusgonewild
@marcusgonewild 3 жыл бұрын
Hey Jared. My names marcus. I've had the Axe 2.0 for almost 2 months now. Personally I paintball both saturdays and Sundays and what I find is the Axe 2.0 really does a good job of staying lubed and stuff all weekend. Regardless of how clean it seems, I go through only 1 box of paint every practice and I clean it every Sunday. Sometimes if I know the gun is dirty, I'll clean it both days but that's just me. Honestly it could probably last a whole tournament weekend with no issues. I would def clean after 6k balls no matter what. But 2-4k shots and you'll see it stays perfectly lubed and everything. Hope this helps.

Currently running the Ninja Ultra Lite 68/4500 tank. Works like a charm. CAVEAT, the Axe 2.0 is a low pressure system! That means you *MUST remove a certain amount of shims (two big red shims) from the Ninja Ultralite before* plugging it into the marker.
