Thank you for making this video. I have had my vacuum 6 years and have 4 house dogs. We have to clean the brushes once a month or more depending if it is shedding season. I vacuum at least once if not twice a day. I have had a LOT of vacuums in my 65 years. This vacuum is by far the best I have ever had. ❤

LOL...my wife has own one of these vacuums for 2 years and never cleaned it. While sitting in the other room I heard, "Why doesn't this vacuum work in more???" Maybe we should take it to the shop🤨 After a 1 minute search on KZbin I found your video and was able to fix it. THANK YOU VERY YOU MUCH for posting this!!!

Hey neighbor! Dave here 42y/o Olympia,WA. DUDE! Thank you for your deep cleaning video. I have had same vac as yours for 4 years ir so (Costco purchase) and I have had to watch several videos on suction loss (deep cleaning) and none of the half dozen or so videos clean or even discuss the post filter! I was feeling extremely disheartened by the diminishing efficacy of a DYSON! Especially because when it was new it almost sucked the carpet off the sub floor.😅 Always suspected there was another filter but I never thought to check in the ball. It runs like new again!👍🏻🙏🏻🤝🏻

Going to buy one which will be onsale tomorrow. My main drawback looking at it was the filters because from previous Shark's, I know they get dirty and cost $$ to replace. Just having to clean with cold water is great. Thanks again.

You mean it unscrewed and came off? You should be able to screw it back on right?

Question, is it possible to wash the two filter on the side of the Dyson UP14? Dyson lied by saying “no filter required” and I found out it has TWO! Not only one! Arrrrr! Each is $30 😮😮😮😮 wth???! We should sue Dyson people for false advertising. 😢

I'm not sure about washing on that model. I would advise least use your vacuum and use the blow option if available to blow as much dust out of the filters as possible

Just make sure it's completely dry before you use it again. I've never had any problems

Just picked up one of these. Not sure that's a good idea. I would use an air hose or a brush.

Dyson says to use no water, but they cannot make me understand why. Look at the unit. It's completely plastic, with a few rubber seals. There is nothing here that water, a cleaner, and even hot water can harm. If they're that fragile, move to a different model.

Hint: Clean it outside your house under a garden tap n dust into your garbage bin. Never clean & dump the dirt into your laundry or kitchen sink 😂
