Preventive maintenance is key for every saltwater device. Including Engines etc. I have several KK reels. Love them.

Don't forget to lube the worm gear, If you have forgotten to do it in this video. PS. Yes u did the worm gear. Great job. I have a KK Royal Legend Elite Pro 2 reel. I love it. Use it in Saltwater most of the time. I'm always doing a quick rinse with freshwater after use, and lubing, twice a year.

You could, but you would be better off with a very thin layer of good reel oil.

This reel clearly needed maintenance, although it was very clean there was grease on the inside of the case. Since you were inside it and you are making a video on cleaning and maintenance, you should have taken the time to do the video right.
