Those are not technically bots. If you can identify a common feature (like they all come from the same email address), you could create a filter to delete them automatically.

When you unsubscribed from an email the spammers know that your email address is valid and will continue to send you emails. The best way is to create a filter and have the email deleted upon arrival.

Not exactly. The process in the video is only for LEGITIMATE COMMERCIAL mail, NOT for spam. Real spam is hard to filter because the spammers change up the characteristics all the time; that's why some of it gets through even Google's excellent spam filters.
