I use the cheap dishcloths from Walmart as a final filter. Bonus, you can use these cloths (and cheesecloth from earlier steps) with the material they filtered out as firestarters.

Hey Larissa, total newbie here so this is probably a silly question.. but is that dark gunk you scrape from the bottom of the beeswax propolis?? Thanks for all of your great content. ♥️

Some of it might be propolis. Some of it is probably just dirt and parts of bees and pollen.
