When drying the shot after cleaning also put those dessicant bags in the oven as well, to get them hot and drive off adsorbed water. Then you can use a nice sealed tupperware, or better yet a Consol glass jar, also heated in the oven for the last 5 minutes, to store the lot in a dry atmosphere.

Hi, yes it would be a good idea to pop the desiccant in the oven on a low heat with the shot. I keep a load of the desiccant bags in the airing cupboard, but if someone only has one or two then it would certainly help to dry them off along with the shot. I didn't say in the video to let the shot cool down a bit before putting it back into a plastic container. (I hope folks have the sense to not melt their containers) All the best . . . Andy
