Oooh, awesome! I've been doing this wet tissue method to remove the boogies from dogs or cat's eyes for forever now. I don't cut the hairs though lol...I leave that to the groomers we take them to each week and they keep their hair nice and neat. It also helps when I give kisses to their faces when I run the tissue near their eyes. I think it relaxes them more...and then of course, a nice treat afterwards.

You should moisten the mustache FIRST before coming it. It’s very painful to the dog is there are hairs that are stuck together. Once it’s wet THEN use a flea comb to clean out any buggers or gunk in the mustache then clean the eyes. Water is actually very painful if it get in the eyes. Using a saline solution for sensitive eyes is better to use on a cloth to wipe the eyes will prevent any burning if water from your tissue touches the eyes.
