They stay in my ears when running and become unnoticeable. They are tight but comfortable. The sound quality is about the same as the 1st gen buds. They pair more easily with my LG G8 ThinQ and immediately reconnect when removed from the case. The sound balance is excellent, good but not overpowering base and clean mid tones and highs.Cons: The noise cancellation is good but perhaps a little less effective than the Bose ANC on the 1st gen buds. Passthrough mode as not as good as the 1st gen buds making it a little more difficult to hear conversations when in passthrough.

DO NOT USE A MAGIC ERASER. It erases because it’s acts as a super-fine sandpaper. It will micro scratch up your AirPod case.

A q tip will push the earwax into the airpod cause ur just mixing it up in there

The width of most Q-tips is typically smaller than the width of the smallest hole in the air pods case. So unless you actively try to push the crap farther into the case you’ll be fine. If necessary, you could even put rubbing alcohol or nail polish remover on the q tip beforehand so it comes off the air pods case easier.

I used Q tips and simple green and it worked pretty good. You can probably use other cleaners, I wouldn't recommend shoving a wet Q tip into those airpod charging holes tho, it might cause damage

Thanks good ideas! I've had my airpods for like 8 months & I noticed the left one decreased in sound so much that I could barely hear from it. I went to the genius bar & the guy took it to the back & when he came out it was perfect, he said dust got into it reducing the sound. He recommended cleaning the actual airpods with a brush. I might be afraid to do that but in any case thanks for the suggestions will definitely take you up on them.

That’s the only thing I hate about my air pods. The case and pods gets filthy very quick especially if your hands are dirty at work like mine are usually. The blue tac works but a lot of the stains seems to embed into the case. 👍🏽
