I cleaned the filter in my Bosch classixx WFL20602GB/12 and it was spotless no lie.

Save All the Bosch they are brilliant machine and worth the money to fix them

Not so! I had a Bosch ten years ago that packed up very soon after the warranty expired. These machines are not what they are cracked up to be and went through a very bad period probably because they outsourced the build. Zanussi are just as good and the older models are bomb proof.

We've had various problems with our Bosch [Logixx 1400) over recent years. However, its done quite well for the age and use! The latest problem was the "coin foreign object" filter cap being jammed. The drain pump had to come out to reveal the culprit - a bra wire jamming it! Another piece of the same bra wire had also punctured the drum sump rubber hose/gaiter, so that has to be replaced too. It all started with an intermittent minor leak, which led to more leakage over the week until waste water started filling the cabinet tray underneath. Anyway, while the drain sump rubber was out, I noticed a small hole in the door seal rubber too (not connected to the bra wire). So I'll have to replace that too. A few years ago, the motor brushes gave up the ghost (intermittent start). That was a doddle to replace compared to the above fiddly pump and sump rubber removal.

You would be like a Dutch boy with his finger in the dam! Bosch machines all seem to burn through brushes, as for your bra underwires Mark, that is just down to bad luck. I have seen quite a few stuck pump doors or plugs, sometimes a vigorous wiggling back and forth works, but if it is really stuck then taking the whole thing out is the only job, you can get at it from the removed inlet hose usually. You learned this the hard way! I have my washing machines on a concrete plinth in the cellar where a leak can do no harm. Not everyone has the luxury of a cellar.

Great video. Is this the same for a classixx 7 Bosch washing machine?
@bootsowen3 жыл бұрын
Almost all these Bosch are the same, some have a drain hose to begin, some don't. Some are behind a door, some are behind the base fascia.

@@bootsowen Thanks. I thought so. Mine is a UK model & has a rectangular service flap & a black filter cap& drainage hose. I think that it's broken as the cap doesn't have anything apart from the front black cap..no white or different colour bit like yours. I also pulled out a lot of hard scaley bits

Loads of the newer Bosch models have poor quality metal in the spider, the bit that joins the drum inside to the bearings, it is some kind of cast aluminium alloy, if you had little bits of black/white and aluminium powder/sand then that usually signals the end of a spider. I have posted a few other videos of what this looks like.

@@bootsowen I have a loud banging noise only on the last 2 min of the cycle ,I opened the drain pump filter and there's nothing in it but there was little bits of like grey brick dust in the water ,is this related?
