How to clean the heat pump tumble dryer filter

Brilliant dryer I adore hoover dryers. I have one like this it matches my washing machine, I have had a range of different appliances over the years!!

Rule of thumb is. If ya can't see through a lint filter then air can't pass through it. One in the door after every cycle, one in the bottom once a week. Our whirlpool are the same. They can get caked in white gunk from laundry powder and softener too, it's very important to keep them clean.

My LG has a self-cleaning condenser so i only need to do both lint filters 😁

What do you do if the bottom filter is full of water and the dryer keeps stopping with the light indicator flashing

You check the pump at the back and see why the water is not getting pumped out?

I have a similar one that I have used a few times, and the filters are clean, and it takes all its time, but it does not dry the clothes like the first time. What is the problem?

Oh I have this and I haven't cleaned it yet so oh no somthing will happen if I don't clean it oh no. I dident realise you can take the draw out to clean it mine I didn't think it had a draw

I have the same dryer. It keeps getting stuck with 2 minutes remaining and will not stop. Any ideas anyone?

If your filters are clean, then you need to call maintenence (hopefully it's under warranty), as they explained to me it's common programming failure. Or try some other program, maybe it will avoid the issue 🤞

I try to clean the fins with a brush and have moderate success. Alot of the lint still ends up getting stuck at the top or bottom ends of the fins. How do you remove them?
