Nice video Mario. I clean my res every 6 months or so. All the info about the screws is spot on. I get all mine in first by hand then use a driver only as tight as I can by using gentle pressure with my finger tips on the driver handle. If you take your time and tighten the screws in an alternating pattern it works every time. The res cleans easy with a towel and a small amount of soap and I've never had staining issues with mine. At most I might get a tiny bit of green crud in the corners of the res. Best thing I can recommend to prevent staining or any other build up is to regularly change your coolant. Flushing a few times before opening the loop for a final clean seems to work for me.

Car wax works wonders on the block for protecting it from water etching over time. Apply same as on a vehicle finish. It works great on stubborn stains and minor discoloration. The water doesn't adhere to the surface because of the waxed finish.

Hi rad if you can make a distro plate from 1st step to last, imean making it in Solidworka then making the cnc to make using commands in software. Im planning to make my own distro pkate thanks.

Thanks for the tips on tightening the screws. I didn't know how to tell if it was too tight. Great tips! Now I know one of mine maybe a little too tight. If it was too tight for a few months should I get a new o ring or can it be ok ?
@radikult-custom3 жыл бұрын
If everything looks good you should be okay. The main reason not to over tighten the screws is “fractures or cracks” caused by stress on the acrylic. The oring can handle a “little” over tightening

@@radikult-custom I've got a little crud on the edges of my distro. Is there any way to clean this out solution wise without harming it or my blocks ? Running corsair xg7 3000 series block and 2 copper rads. Also I jus don't want to take it apart and undo it all. So much labor lol. 😩 here's a pic. ibb.co/2SjjCBr

@@cppctek I don’t suggest using any type of solvents. The best thing to do would be ask EKWB and see what they recommend.

Can I went sand a Distro plate and polish if it gets scratched not the inside the outside?
@radikult-custom2 жыл бұрын
Yes you could, depending on how deep or how bad the scratch is, you will need to adjust the sanding grits

@@InSaiyan-Shinobi I would suggest 600 all the way to 2000+ Below 600 would be to rough You can try with like 1000 -2000 and then buff it and see if it come out, if not then go lower like 800 or 600 (1000 - 2000) and buff again

hello you are very good. I am Italian and I congratulate you. I would like to ask you a couple of questions: which machinery do you use for the job? make and model. what sheets do you use for acrylic? I'm sorry but I don't speak English well :-)

Believe I have to mention it because there has been at least 1 person that used a drill and torque the screws so tight that cracked all the front panel
