Thank you for taking the time to make this video I have a V6 300 I replaced the throttle body sensor and it was still acting funny I looked act the actual part and it was filthy and after cleaning it really well it hasn’t gave me no problems since it was the sensor & the actual throttle body needed cleaned and this is a good thing to know and it really fixed my issue it also needed a battery that was a whole other issue I did not want to deal with becsuse these cars batteries are behind the wheel well and it’s sucks taking a tire off a car just to change the battery!

thanks for the video, it came in handy today when I cleaned a customer's 06 300. I found that I didn't have to remove the bracket completely, just the 2 mm nuts and 1 15mm bolt. I loosened the forward bolt and moved the bracket out of the way. saved a little time. you got some great videos. keep up the good work. wished I had a lift though.

Another video from a parts supplier that gives you enough info to tackle the job yourself but also does not include info that will save you from catastrophe. He did not give you torque specs on installing the TB because if you strip out the bolts from over torque they got a shiny new expensive intake to sell you. He did not caution you when cleaning to gently move the throttle when cleaning or internal damage to the cheap made in china plastic gears would break .. because you guessed it they got a shiny new throttle body to sell you. also he did not say to check or replace the o-ring gasket ? why ? they will sell you one with the intake or TB seperately and not much profit in it by itself so wanna look like the nice company that will not sell you something unless you need it. So in closing tighten the bolts snugly to tb its a plastic intake and dont manhandle the throttle plate. and he also did not tell you how to relearn the idle if you run into issues with the car making a drastic change after cleaning and it needs to relearn to run

try turning the key on engine off, depress gas pedal to the floor and release within a 3 second interval then turn key back off and should be good to go.

Cleaning it is a maintenance routine it will fix issues from carbon buildup and throttle blades catching from said buildup. If you are cleaning a throttle body with a bad motor or internal gear issue then cleaning doesn't fix that issue. also when cleaning that throttle blade is attached to a motor and gears assembled by the LOWEST bidder so expect it to be cheap plastic gears if you man handle the throttle body during cleaning you will be buying a new one shortly. when they first came out we were told to NEVER move the blades by hand or it damages the gears. apparently over the decade since they were introduced so many people said hell wit it and cleaned um that warning has been ignored .

Its a pain to get to it if youre not to familiar with the vehicle , so with all that work you're better off putting a new egr valve and cleaning out just the egr tube .
